Telugu producer Udayshankar Akella may have got a U-certificate from the censor board for his forthcoming bilingual "Made In Vizag" but he feels that getting "U" is a tough job nowadays.

The Tamil-Telugu film, which stars Yaswin and Nikitha Narayan, may release by January-end.

"With stringent censor board norms breathing down our necks, it's becoming a herculean task to get 'U' certificate these days. Moreover, to get a clean 'U' means compromising on essentials such as extra glamour or crude humour," Akella told IANS.

Pointing out another challenge, he added: "To get a 'Universal' certificate and yet include elements that will draw audiences to the cinemas appears to be a bigger task currently."

What is the biggest challenge in the process?

"The biggest challenge is to decide what to retain in a film. You miss a clean certificate over a few dialogues or even an item number," he said.

Akella is busy wrapping up the post-production work of "Made In Vizag".
