Actress Priya Anand, soon to be seen opposite Jackky Bhagnani in "Rangrezz," is well-versed in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, English and Spanish languages. Now she hopes to become proficient in Marathi as well.

"My grandmother was Marathi, unfortunately I didn't pick up too much Marathi because she passed away when I was really young. But now that I am in Mumbai, everybody around me is going to teach me Marathi," the 26-year-old said here Wednesday in an interview.

Born and brought up in Chennai, Priya's father is half Telugu and half Marathi while her mother is a Tamilian.

She has featured in a few Tamil and Telugu films like "Vaamanan" and "Rama Rama Krishna Krishna" respectively.

Priya has a soft corner for the Bengali language and said: "I like Bengali, as a language I find it very beautiful. I hope to do a few Bengali films and I hope that it happens soon."

Priya was seen in "English Vinglish" last year and says language is certainly not a barrier for her and the script is the only criteria for doing a film.

"Language is not a barrier for me, it is very easy for me to pick up languages... I don't go by the language a film is going to be made in, I go by the technical team and the story," she said.

Directed by Priyadarshan, "Rangrezz" will be Priya's second Bollywood film after a small role in "English Vinglish".

Producer Vashu Bhagnani plans to release "Rangrezz" a night before March 22, Friday, - it will be open for the audience's at theatres after 8:30 p.m. March 21.
