Bajatey Raho gets the Delhi in Ranbir out!

Actor Ranvir Shorey's role as a typical Dilliwala in Khosla Ka Ghosla was quite appreciated. However, post the film he got flooded with roles where he had to play a dilliwala. Sighting the cliches, Ranvir decided not to do any roles where he was required to play a Delhi boy. But it was director Shashant A Shah's Bajatey Raho that changed Ranvir's mindset.

"As much as I loved playing a Delhiite in KKG, it was quite irritating to be offered so many roles where people wanted me to be known as a guy from the capital. I appreciate the fact that everyone liked me in that role, but I have always tried to do different roles. That's why I took a vow that I won't do any more roles that put me in that bracket. However, when Shashant came to me with Bajatey Raho, I realised it was time once again to be a Dilliwala. The script is brilliant and Shashant is a very good filmmaker. I wanted to work with him and even though I am from Delhi in this film, it is not a repeat of KKG," explains Ranvir.

Ranvir had reject Aloo Chaat and many other films because of this reason. But this revenge comedy changed the talented actor's heart.

Bajatey Raho takes us through a journey where all hell has broken loose and it's only the crooks left to rule the roost. Now the only way left to fight Evil is con against a con. When Sabbarwahl (Ravi Kissen) is on a roll committing a series of frauds, all in the garb of a successful business entrepreneur, little does he know that one of his misdoings has created a huge impact on the lives of 4 poor sods: Mrs. Baweja (Dolly Ahluwalia), Sukhi (Tusshar Kapoor), Mintoo Hasan (Vinay Pathak) and Ballu (Ranvir Shorey). This is turn has only resulted into an enormous wave of need for vengeance. And when Mrs. Baweja decides to take things in her hand, there is no more stopping the good hearted underdog who have to become a 'little BAD' to fight the 'very BAD'. Because at the end of it all Happy Ending it is… but all you will want to say is 'Bajatey Raho'!

The film is produced by Eros International and co-produced by Multi Screen Media Motion Pictures. MSM Motion Pictures will mark their debut as producer with his film. The film is set to release on 26th July.
