Dhoom 3's theatrical trailer cost the makers a bomb

Dhoom 3's theatrical trailer that would be launched in IMAX format cost the makers of the film a bomb as this is the first time that it is happening for a hindi film.

The trailer of the film will be shown in the biggest format ever, IMAX. Usually, Hollywood films like Spiderman & Batman are seen in the IMAX format.

For the first time, a Hindi film will be releasing in this arrangement and to give the audiences a glance of what to anticipate from the film, the trailer of the Dhoom franchise, which is most awaited has also been converted to IMAX.

The trailer is scheduled to release in IMAX on 30^th October. To do the conversion, the makers had to take extra efforts of some time and of course there was a heavy cost involved.

But we are sure it is worth all the efforts.

"Dhoom 3 is the first Hindi film to release in IMAX. Therefore to give a glimpse of what to expect, we are releasing the theatrical in IMAX. Obviously there is a cost involved", said the spokesperson.

Dhoom 3 has Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra in pivotal roles.
