Fashion Face-Off: Deepika Padukone vs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra!

How many times while venturing the streets, shopping in a mall or simply sitting in a restaurant have we spotted someone and realized they're wearing a top we own? At least once in our life, we've been caught in an awkward situation where we go to a party and someone shows up in a similar outfit, causing an 'oops!' moment. Well, our sparkling tinsel town is no different than us in this matter. Deepika Padukone and Shilpa Shetty were witnessed sporting the same Zara pencil skirt albeit on different occasions, just a few months apart. Fashion Police is back for a face-off to see which of these two gorgeous women carried the outfit better.

On 21st May, 2013, Deepika Padukone was seen wearing this skirt with a casual white blouse and colorful Victoria Secrets thong sandals at the Parachute Hair Oil event. Her hair was held back and she chose not to accessorize herself. All in all, she kept the look simple and, in our opinion, pretty much forgettable.

Shilpa Shetty was seen pairing the same skirt with a white top and belt on October 19th, 2013, at Roopa Vohra Raveena Tandon Jewellery Line Launch. We like how she chose an off-white top instead of pure white since that seems to match better. She also took care to accessories herself with a watch, some rings and a pair of studs in her ears. Special mention to the Louboutin Tower clutch as it finishes off the look beautifully. We don't have a problem with the pumps she chose for her footwear except they could've been in some other color. But even with that, we clearly think she carried off her outfit far better than Deepika, though the latter made her appearance first.
