Happy Birthday Hrithik Roshan!

B-town celebrates the birthday of our very own Hrithik Roshan on the 10^th of January. Son of Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik acted in several movies starting quite early in his childhood and later turned out to be one of the biggest and most loved Bollywood celebrities till this day and age.

Hrithik first appeared as a child artist in a dance sequence from the film Aasha and then played two minor roles in Aap Ke Deewane and Bhagwan Dada which happened to havehis father as the main lead. In 2000, he made his smashing debut as a lead actor with a double role in the super-hit movie Kaho Naa Pyaar Ha. This Rakesh Roshan directorial became the highest grossing film that year. With the debut film being so acknowledged, fame came his way bringing along with it much public praise for his acting, his tremendous dancing skills, or his sexy sculpted physique.

Hrithik thereafter did movies like Mission Kashmir, Yaadein and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. These films weren't very successful and led to a downward trend in his career. However, his career took a sudden upward shift with the huge success of his science-fiction adventure Koi Mil Gaya in 2003 and its successful sequel Krrish in 2006, both directed by his father yet again. His acting in Koi Mil Gaya earned him a Filmfare best actor award. That same year, we saw him in the action film Dhoom 2 which showed us a new version of Hrithik. For the first time, he played an antagonist and the audiences loved it and gave him a thumbs up. He also received much critical appreciation for his versatility in acting. This earned him his second Filmfare best actor award. Roshan's chemistry with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was so well appreciated in Dhoom 2 that both were cast in Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodhaa Akbar, another blockbuster in his success chapters. He then did films like Kites and Guzaarish which didn't impress critic or audiences much. Nevertheless, with 2011's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and 2012's Agneepath, he is back in action. 

As of now, Hrithik has 3 films in hand, namely the much awaited Krrish 3, Bang Bang and Paani. Hrithik is moreover a family man and happily married to actor Sanjay Khan's daughter Suzanne Khan Roshan since 2000 and have 2 sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
