Happy Birthday Ayushmann Khurrana!

And here is BollyCurry with yet another celebrity on his birthday. We are talking about the talented anchor, actor, and singer Ayushmann Khurrana. The lad turns 29 this 14th of September, starting a new year to chase new dreams and aspirations.

Born in Chandigarh, Khurrana studied at St. John's High School and DAV College there. He majored in English Literature and has done Masters in Mass Communication from School of Communication Studies, Punjab University, Chandigarh. While in college, he was one of the active members who participated in much theatre work and street plays and was even awarded for the same.

To start off with an outstanding career in the world of entertainment, Khurrana was the winner of MTV Roadies Season 2 and later turned a video jockey for numerous youth-based shows on MTV. Moreover, he took up anchoring for reality shows like India's Got Talent, Music Ka Maha Muqqabala, Just Dance and the third season of Extra Innings T20 for Indian Premiere League (IPL).

Being a popular figure in television, Khurrana's bridge to Bollywood was quite convincing and he made his debut as an actor and a singer with 2012's Vicky Donor opposite debutant Yami Gautam. Though being a low budget film, it turned out to be commercially successful and both the audience and critics applauded Khurrana's performance and guts to take up a movie with such a complex theme, and that too for his debut. For the film, he composed and sung the song 'Pani Da Rang' which was appreciated as well. The actor was next seen in Rohan Sippy's Nautanki Saala which was a moderate success and yet again he was appreciated for his acting and singing in the song 'Sadi Gali'.

Though just 2 films old, Khurrana is one popular lad in Tinsel Town, either it be for the Debutant Awards he has received or for the award ceremonies he has hosted. With films like Hamara Bajaj and an untitled Yash Raj project coming on the way, he is one guy to look out for in the forthcoming years.
