As the month of July comes to an end, it only means one thing - the end of summer and carefree days. But fret not! We, at BollyCurry, know how morose you're feeling with the dreary rains and gloomy sky, hence, we bring to you a list of fun songs which are quirky, insane, and sure to perk up your mood! "Paan mein pudina dekha, naak ka nagina dekha!"

With lyrics that practically make no sense when you sing them to yourself, "Badtameez Dill" is one catchy song! Pritam Chakraborty's peppy music and Amitabh Bhattacharya's inane lyrics do wonders with this immensely popular song, and you can't help but sing and dance along when Bunny [Ranbir Kapoor] grooves to the song!

"Aasoonon ka churan chaba key, humne dakaar maara rey!"

At a moment when Vijay [Hrithik Roshan] is upset about not being able to be with his sister on her birthday, it is Kaali [Priyanka Chopra] who gathers the entire chawl to sing a peppy song with quirky lyrics to boost Vijay's mood. A few minutes into the song and dance sequence, and Kaali succeeds in her mission to get Vijay to join in the celebrations. With Amitabh Bhattacharya's quirky yet catchy lyrics and Ajay-Atul's mesmerizing music, "Gun Guna Re" is sure to leave a smile on the listener's face!

"Cheeti chaate cheeni chatori cheeni khor!"

A song that is sure to leave a smile on your face, "Chanda Chamke" is one unique song which incorporates some of the iconic tongue-twisters of the Hindi language. Jatin-Lalit's spellbinding music only served to weave magic into Prasoon Joshi's fun lyrics, making this one of the most memorable songs of its times.

"Baara minute bhi, lagta hai ab naa, tere bin reh paaoonga rey!"

Salman Khan's songs are famous for sporting meaningless, yet catchy lyrics; and they also have a tendency to remain in one's head for days after listening. Similarly, "Dhinka Chika's" insane yet funny lyrics [penned by Ashish Pandit], music by Devi Sri Prasad and the presence of Salman Khan himself, catapulted this song to the top of the charts in no time. The movie, Ready, may not be remembered by many, but the song and its fun lyrics are still in everyone's mind!

"Arrey poocho naahi mooche tarase talvaari, moochen hi toh dekh Kaurav ki fauj haari!"

Pritam Chakraborty is known to create magic when he composes music, and such was the case with the song "Billu Bhayankar" from the popular film Billu Barber. The asinine lyrics and the sprightly music only serve to make one erupt into peals of laughter and hum along with Ajay Jhingran and Kalpana, who lent their melodious voices to make this song what it is.
