Bollywood and its music have always played an integral part in the lives of its fans across the world. Be it a wedding, a dance night or another event, Indian music offers all kinds of tunes to tap your feet to or simply hum along to with your friends or in solitary. At this time of the year, the leaves are crunching under everyone's feet and Autumn is starting to show its true color all around, so BollyCurry brings to you a memoir of a few songs which portrayed a vivid visual of the perfect fall in the following videos.
"Mere Haath Mein" - Fanaa
This beautiful scenic number by Sonu Niigam and Sunidhi
Chauhan walks the viewer through all seasons and places. One of the
most breathtaking views includes the fall season shown through the
falling of orange leaves and the love birds, Rehan and Zooni, played by
Aamir Khan and Kajol Devgn respectively, carelessly spending time with one
another. Can there be a better getaway than a place full of crispy
leaves and the earthly fall colors all around?
"Tumhi Dekho Na" - Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna
Another romantic track that compels you into your
dreamland, this song has everything to keep one glued to the screen:
beautiful lyrics by Javed Akhtar, great scenic backdrops, the enchanting
voice of Alka Yagnik and Sonu Niigam and
the amazing duo: Shah Rukh Khan - Rani Mukherjee. Again, we are taken
through different seasons throughout the song and one of them that
catches attention is fall. What's catchy is not just the falling orange
and brown crunchy leaves, but rather Rani's saree that entwines with the
beautiful season and thus, creates a romantic ambiance.
"Lamha Lamha" - Gangster - A Love Story
The song by Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Sunidhi Chauhan
surely managed to calm a-many hearts. It's a song based on new found
love that blossoms quite tenderly. The movie itself may not have been
quite popular due to its action flick genre but this song surely did
have a huge fan following. Adding to the beautiful lyrics was the
picturization that was heartwarming and scenic. The orange hued leaves
on the tall trees was the perfect kind of romance this movie needed.
"Na Tum Jaano Na Hum" - Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai
The sweet and soft song that is still sung and heard will forever
be engraved in many hearts. Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel were both
fresh faces in the movie but adding to the classic romance was the song
that had been shot in the much cooler land of New Zealand. However, what
makes this is an Autumn song is the the traditional wear of Amisha
Patel, jackets donned by Hrithik Roshan, lyrics written by Ibrahim Ashq,
Sawan Kumar Tak and Vijay Akela, the soulful voice of Lucky Ali and of
course, romance near the sweeping Autumn trees.
"Wada Raha" - Khakee
The
sensational voice of Shreya Ghoshal, Arnab Chakravorty and Udit Narayan
promised romance with their song "Wada Raha" in 2004. The song saw
Aishwariya Rai Bachchan and Akshay Kumar declaring their love on the
beautiful mountains and between the yellow popping daisies. Flying
pigeons, lush green grass and falling ember leave later in the song just
left the audiences enchanted.
While
Autumn may reign in the colder climate, the beauty in the cold, crisp
air, the drizzly rain and the warm, three layered clothing is nothing
short of a bespectable. So grab a hot mug of cocoa and flick up these songs to enjoy the beauty of the season.
