27th August Written Update

Anandi Runs to the mirror and screams as she sees her reflection.  She starts to complain that itches and rushes to call Sumitra.  Jagdish laughs and Sugna tells him that Sumitra will not leave him before rushing after Anandi who cries in the middle of the hallway and screams that it stings.  Sgna brings a bucket of water and helps clean it of as Sumitra comes down with the achar ladies and is stunned to see Anandi's condition.  She washes it all of and asks Anandi what happened – Anandi tells her everything.

Sumitra is furious at yells at Jagdish and tells him to apologise.  Jagdish refuses and she twists his ear before forcing him to apologise.  Jagdish does so and the achar ladies laugh – Jagdish looks murderous.

Later…

Dadi, Prasand and Bhairav come home and see a morose Jagdish who says that he doesn't want to live here as no one loves him.  Dadi coddles him and coaxes the story out of him.  Sumitra and Anandi come in with water but Dadi berates her for taking Anandi's side against her own son.  Anandi speaks up and says that she doesn't see Jagdish's fault.  Dadi is furious and tells Bhairav that one day Anandi will ruin them all.

She tells Anandi to apologise to Jagdish.  Anandi does so with tears in her eyes and Jagdish smiles.  Prasand laughs and asks him if he is happy now.

Room…

Anandi is crying and insists that she wants to go back home to her parents.  Sumitra and Sugna try to pacify her but she weeps continuously saying that Dadi doesn't love her.  Sumitra holds her ears but Anandi tells her not to and stops crying.  Sumitra points out a fallen star and Anandi makes a wish that she can return to her parents soon.

Village…

Draupathi jerks awake and feels as if Anandi was calling out to her.  Her husband wakes up and tells her to go back to sleep.

Jagdish's house…

Sumitra helps Anandi to get ready and tells her to choose whatever jewellery she would like to wear.  Anandi happily looks throught he heavy sets.  Dadi comes in and asks for some papers.  Sumitra moves to the cupboard as Sugna also comes in and along with Anandi, excitedly tries on the necklaces.  Dadi looks emotional and tells Sumitra that this is the age for Sugna to dress up as a married woman but her parents refuse to do her gauna. 

She calls Sugna and tells her to convince Sumitra to send her of to her in laws because nobody is prepared to listen to the rantings of an old women.  Dadi leaves and an upset Sugna asks Sumitra why they are not doing her gauna.  Sumitra tries to console her but Sugna storms of.  Sumitra asks her where she is going – she replies to the mandir with Jagdish.

Anandi also wishes to go along and Sugna becomes wide eyed.  Jagdish is called down and Sumitra tells him to take Anandi to the mandir.  Jagdish is about to refuse but Sugna stops him and hurriedly agrees to take Anandi.

Mandir…

Anandi is praying – Sugna signals to Jagdish whispers to Anandi to keep her eyes closed and keep praying before he and Sugna slip away. Anandi, on not hearing Sugna's voice opens her eyes and is surprised to find them both missing.  She sees them running away and follows.

Haveli…

Sugna and Pratap are having a cute moment.  He asks her about her gauna but she replies that her parents are not talking about.  Pratap gifts her a necklace and Sugna promises to talk to her parents.

Meanwhile Jagdish is waiting outside with a stone in his hand.  He talks to himself and says that if the ghost coems now then he is prepared.  Suddenly he starts to ehar a rustling in the trees and holds up the stone as he sees a figure coming closer.  The figure appears and Jagdish is relieved to see Anandi who glares at him angrily.
