writing styles....

wat impresses u most about ur favorite authors' writing styles?????

for me, its usually the words...i mean some descriptions....n mostly the dialogues, like u know there are lines u read n they just stick to ur mind....like forever....

one from kite runner...."for u a thousand times over...." thought it was said so simply n wonderfully.....

i like the fact that no matter how long the books are, the authors don't let you get bored... i really admire that....

What  I really admire about authors' style is putting a humorous spin on even the most serious situations.  Also, I like the way some things are described so that you can totally picture them in your mind and also the creativeness to get the whole story across.
