December 8th Written Update
Maasa's old friend whom she considers as her jiji comes to visit. Sumi brings Gehna down to introduce her to jiji. Seeing Gehna, jiji compliments her on her beauty and tells Maasa that she is appalled at how an old man like Basant could get such a young and pretty bride. Gehna replies that anything is possible by money. Jiji is stunned to hear gehna talk this way. After Gehna leaves, she warns Maasa that Gehna could destroy her family. She leaves disappointed. After jiji leaves, a fuming maasa goes to gehna's room and reprimands her for her behavior and tells her that she has had enuf of her tantrums and that its time now to take action. In the evening when Basant returns home, she tells him what happened and reminds him of how jiji likes to gossip and is certain that she will talk abt this all around the village. Maasa orders him to stop pampering his wife and states that from now on no one in the house will talk to Gehna or give her any kind of importance. Basant agrees with her on this.
