Abhi visits Srini at SKPD's house to ask him what plans he had made thus far for bringing out dear deaddy on bail. Srini is shaken that Abhi has been able to defy Charu and come out to meet him and that all his plans to keep dad and daughter apart have failed. Srini tells her he had consulted various lawyers but all had been unanimous that the case against SKPD was strong. Abhi tells him there is no such word as "no" in her vocabulary and she vows to personally bring out SKPD. Srini frets when she has gone, then summons a lawyer to meet him.
Abhi goes to see a lawyer recommended by her family counsel. The lawyer tells her that there are witnesses with strong testimonies and that the prosecution had left no loophole that he could exploit. Abhi proposes that they turn the tables on the prosecution. She notes that the main witness against SKPD in the 1-Kai Subramaniam murder is the driver. The man who had nabbed the driver and got testimony out of him, Alex P, was now dead. The lawyer could therefore get hold of that driver now and have him claim that he had given testimony against SKPD under duress (come on, Viduthalai; surely, the dead Alex couldn't have been the only police officer present at the time of the interrogation?) The lawyer agrees that this is a good ploy. Abhi promises to look for the driver and deliver him up to the lawyer.
Srini polambifies to himself that his plot against Abhi and SKPD has gone awry. His lawyer comes in then and Srini asks him again whether there was any way that SKPD could be brought out of jail. He projects himself as eager to bring out SKPD and get the credit for doing so himself. The lawyer assures him again that the case against SKPD is too strong and there is no way he could be released on bail. Srini is relieved. When the lawyer leaves, he tells himself that he shall see to it that SKPD is never released and that his next plot would be to separate Abhi from her mother.
The final two scenes revolve around the never-ending saga. Manisha returns from her J&K Tourism Office and tells Anitha that there won't be any transfer at this time. Anitha is relieved. Karthik returns home at this point and Manisha excuses herself. Karthik advises Anitha to return to Arjun if she still has any affection for him, her dear brother. He says Arjun has relented and will take her back. He regrets having magnified the whole matter and contributed to Arjun's fury by toting his gun. Defiant Anitha realizes that Karthik is just mouthing Shanthi's advice and asks him whether he had just met her. She asks him whether he planned to listen to Shanthi's advice just for the day or for the rest of his life. She then says if he wants to heed Shanthi's advice, he should also respect her request to live with Manisha. Karthik scolds her for linking two unrelated issues and again tells her that Arjun has changed his mind about her. Anitha declares she won't return to a man who had gone to the extent of sending a divorce notice. Finally, after more futile entreaties by Karthik, Arrogant Anitha says if he thinks she is a burden to him, she will leave the house. She then storms out.
Shanthi goes to scold Rohini for speaking to Manisha's office manager and leading to Anitha accusing her, Shanthi, of having instigated her to bring up the whole transfer issue. She points out Rohini's folly of thinking the whole matter can be resolved simply with a transfer. She says there is no need for Manisha to get a different form of justice than that which Rohini herself got, i.e., being able to marry the man who sired her kid. Finally, after some tiresome exchanges, Shanthi declares that only she has the right to decide the course of her life, not anyone else in the family. [Well said, well said! This is what we have all been screaming out for the past several weeks.] As Shanthi makes her exit, Rohini is left pondering. Freeze.

Karthik is staring out of his balcony, Manisha comes there and asks him what he is going to do to resolve the Arjun-Anitha issue. Karthik feels there is nothing left to be done, that Anitha is not prepared to listen to him. Manisha advises Karthik to go and speak to Arjun in a nice manner, M says there is no place for ego between husband and wife and that if Arjun came and spoke to Anitha, she would go back. Karthik agrees to go and speak to Arjun.
Srini is waiting outside Charu's house hoping Abirami is not around. But sees her car and is disappointed. But Abirami leaves just then and Srini uses this opportunity to go and meet Charu and informs Charu about Abirami's plans of trying to bring her father out of jail. Charu is upset on hearing all this. Srini is pleased with his Naradar job and leaves.
Karthik meets Arjun at the latter's house. Karthik apologizes for his behavior ealier. Arjun is sarcastic, says if Karthik wants he will take a gun or say 100 sorries. But Karthik tries to reason with Arjun and wants Arjun to come and speak to Anitha and take her home. Arjun is not very convinced. Says he will think about it and decide.
Abirami comes back home, Charu confronts her. Abirami appears unfazed, says she loves her father and will try her best to bring him out, cites the example of Parashuram, who beheaded his mother just because his father told him to, but brought his mother back to life when his father granted him a boon. Abirami tells Charu, she is not like Parashram. FREEZE.

Continuation of yesterday's dialog between Abi and Charu. Abi literally declares war on her mother and storms out.
A perplexed Charu arrives at our hero ACD's house (sorry to disappoint folks, no Priya, and ACD wearing uniform), says Abirami has not reformed at all. ACD consoles her saying the matter is now in his hands, that he will deal with it and asks Charu not to worry. ACD also says the department is carrying out lot of secret activites that he cannot share with Charu and that Abirami will learn her lessons soon. Charu points out to ACD that Abi is trying to get SKPD out of prison forever, ACD says that could spell more trouble for Abirami. Charu wonders now if letting SKPD out of prison is part of the department's secret plan. ACD expresses his inability to divulge department activities with Charu. Finally Charu leaves.
Abi's lawyer calls her up. He has brought along with him court orders for the release of SKPD. Apparently the driver who was the prime witness the "one hand subbu's" murder case has a new statement to make, that the dead Alex Pandian forced him to make false statements, he does not know "one hand subbu", does not know SKPD also. Abirami is ecstatic hearing this. Just then Charu comes back and Abi give her usual smirk, and shows the release orders to Charu with seems quite upset. Abirami leaves with the lawyer.
ACD and Comm. Vincent in discussion. Comm is upset about the latest developments, tells ACD that SKPD has been a big source of trouble for them right from the beginning (refers to Priyan's case and all that). He is worried now that Abi and SKPD have joined hands, it could spell more trouble for them. He wants ACD to dig out all the old cases on Abi and reinvestigate them completely.
Abi and lawyer arrive at the jail to take SKPD home. Abi has brought SKPDs old car to make him more comfy. SKPD changes clothes, they finish formalities and leave.
ACD comes up to the Comm., this time with some info about terrorists. They have done a lie test on the arrested terrorist and he has revealed some new information(none of it seem new to us though!!!!). Comm. asks ACD to call for a press conference and alert public with the necessary information.
SKPD, lawyer, and Abirami arrive at SKPDs house. SKPD gets down from his vehicle and stares at his house. FREEZE.

SKPD arrives at his house gets down from the car and walks towards home in slow motion, couple of his men are already there. Srini joins in a bit later with a garland. SKPD thanks lawyer and laywer sings Abirami's praise saying she was the one responsible for SKPDs release. SKPD is surprised to hear this as he has been under the impression it was all Srini's efforts. But, later Srini is exposed. The power of attorney given to Srini is revoked and he is literally kicked out of SKPDs house. After lawyer leaves father and daughter have a conversation about Srini, and both realize that he was the one who poisoned SKPDs mind against Abirami. Daughter tells dad not to trust anybody, that the only trustworthy person he had was kannaku, Abirami tells SKPD to forget his bad past with kannaku, that she will make all efforts to release him. SKPD is happy to hear this.
ACD has called for the press meet, Comm briefs the press about the latest info they have regarding the terrorists, releases photos of Sameer and his boss. Want the press to alert the public about these people, press ask a couple of questions and the press conference is over.
Abirami comes with a sweet box to meet a depressed-looking Charu on the terrace. Charu is not happy seeing Abirami, but the daughter is very happy, claims she defeated her mother on two occasions, one when mom wanted Karthik and Shanti to live together, she split them, the second when she did not let SKPD do "thithi" for his mother while he was in jail, and now she has brought her father out. Charu give some advise, but Abirami gives her usual look, but thanks Charu for cutting out Srini completely from their lives and says the sweets are for those too. Also, says she will make sure her father lives her life to the fullest and enjoy all the authority and power he did earlier. Finally Charu leaves and Abirami is left with her usual look. FREEZE
