Anandi convinces Gehna to dance. Sumitra and Bhairav play instruments and sing while Gehna, Phooli, Anandi and Suguna dance happily. Suddenly Bhairav and Sumitra stop to see that Maasa and Basant are back and standing staring at them. Gehna unaware of this keeps dancing and finally faints and falls. Sumitra runs to Gehna. Bhairav runs to get a doctor. Maasa scolds Sumitra for happily enjoying when she wasn't around. Same lecture about bheendni's respect blah blah. She finally tells Sumitra that there was no use talking to her and that she will talk to Bhairav.
Anandi is crying in her room. She looks at god's picture and asks what was wrong about getting dolls married. She prays that God should do something so that Daadisa is not angry anymore. The doctor checks Gehna and instructs Sumitra to take good care of her.
Down in the living room, Maasa yells at Bhairav about being so irresponsible...same old dialogues...no discipline...widhwa dancing..too much freedom for bheendni etc etc. she is also angry about Bhairav getting home a doctor...an English medicine doctor. Nothing was probably wrong with Gehna. Besides English doctors never had anything good to say. The doctor comes there and tells her she is wrong. She tells Maasa that Gehna is pregnant. Maasa and Basanth are super happy. Maasa starts dancing. She gives the doctor a lot of money. She tells Bhairav to distribute sweets to the entire village. Maasa then calls Sumitra and tells her about Gehna. Sumitra is happy too. Maasa tells Bhairav to arrange for some naach-gaana the next day to celebrate this news.
Maasa comes up to Gehna's room and talks very happily and lovingly to her. She tells Gehna that all her mistakes have been forgiven. Gehna is puzzled about all this. Maasa tells her that she(Gehna) tried so hard to not have anything to do with Basanth, but now she is permanently tied to him. She then tells Gehna that the doctor confirmed that she is pregnant. Gehna is shocked at the news and can't believe it. Maasa happily leaves saying it didn't matter and that Gehna should be happy from now on since her grandson will be born soon. Gehna is left crying miserably.
Precap : Sumitra comes to Gehna's room to fetch her as her parents were there. Gehna tells Sumitra that she will not deliver this baby. Sumitra is shocked.
