After Ek Se Badhkar Ek Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka, Zee along with UTV is all set for television's biggest dance reality show
Dance India Dance.
Giving us info is our source who says, "This show is all about picking raw talents of age group 15 to 25, through a nation wide audition. They will be then trained by professional choreographers who are top names in Bollywood. After the tutoring, participants will be made to compete against each other."
"They will be taught all forms of dance starting from Ballet to Acrobat to Shadow dancing, Mid-air dancing etc. We are as of now finalizing the choreographers. Our aim is to go beyond typical Bollywood dance and present to the audience a variety when it comes to dance forms," adds our source.
The auditions are most likely to comment from the last week of November and will take place in 8 to 10 major cities. "But nothing can be confirmed as of now due to the on-going strike," says our khabroo.
So here comes yet another dance reality show to please the audience!!

Dance India Dance, Zee and UTV's biggest reality show
seems to have got its renowned choreographers to train the participants.
As
reported earlier by Telly Buzz, Dance India Dance is all about picking
raw talents thro' a nationwide audition and putting them thro' a
training program where they will be taught all dance forms by famous
Bollywood choreographers. These participants will then fight a dancing battle amongst themselves.
According
to our source from the industry, "Few of the names who were approached
for the show as choreographers were Pony Verma, Geeta Kapoor, Terrance
Lewis, Remo, Bosco Caesar"
"Of them it looks like Terrance Lewis, Remo D'Souza and Geeta Kapoor in
all probability will be finalized. In total, there will be 4
choreographers training the talents. The fourth name will be finalized
very soon", adds our source.
For the uninitiated, Remo D'Souza
has choreographed for films like Rangeela, 36 China Town, Dhoom etc and
was even part of the dance troupe for the title song of Rangeela. Geeta
Kapoor has choreographed for films like Saathiya, Heyy Baby, Om Shanti
Om and the recently released Dostana. Terence Lewis, the
internationally trained choreographer specializes in Indian folk and
contemporary dance forms, and he has been part of films like Lagaan,
Jhankaar Beats.

Zee's Dance India Dance, produced by UTV is gearing up for nation-wide auditions to get their talents for the competition.
And as reported by Telly Buzz earlier, the contestants will be trained
by a set of 4 renowned choreographers, of which Terrance Lewis, Remo
D'Souza and Geeta Kapoor were already finalized.
According to our source, "Pony Verma is the fourth choreographer joining the team".
Giving us info on the hosts for the show, our khabroo says, "The heart throb of television, Jay Bhanushali and Tarana Raja Kapoor, the popular radio jockey and actress will be hosting the show. They have been finalized.".
However, when we called up Jay Bhanushali to congratulate him on his first assignment as host of a reality show,
the actor seemed clueless and asked us, "From where did you get this
news? I am enjoying my free time chilling at home with family. I have
not been approached for a show like this".
The auditions for
the show began at Jaipur yesterday, and it is heard that the turnout
there was huge. "There were 600 people who gave their auditions. The
four choreographers will be joining the casting choreographer for
auditions in the main cities", adds our source.
The search for
the judges is still on. On the big names approached to chair the
judges' seat, our source states, "We have approached Madhuri Dixit,
Mithun Chakraborty, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra as of now. But nothing has been decided till now".
As
we welcome the choreographers and hosts on board, let us wait and watch
to know about the big celebrities who will join them as judges..

The 'Disco Dancer' of yester years, Mithun Chakraborthy is back in action now!!
Zee's Dance India Dance, produced by UTV
which will provide a platform for young talents to get trained by
professional choreographers and prove their mettle, is now in the
audition stages.
Telly Buzz had earlier reported that stalwarts like Mithun Chakraborthy, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and many others have been approached as judges for the show.
Giving us confirmation on the judge is our well-placed source, "Mithun Chakraborthy
has been roped in, and he is sure to be judging the show. It is a
pleasure to have such a good dancer chairing the judges' seat. There
might be one more judge who will get into the picture. Let's wait and
watch".
Auditions in small cities are underway, and Ahmedabad will be the first major city to conduct auditions sometime next week.
However,
the show will now see three choreographers instead of four. "Pony Verma
will not be part of the show. The choreographers who will train the raw
talents will be Remo D'Souza, Terrance Lewis and Geeta Kapoor", adds
our source.
