Scene continues from Gehna telling Basanth she will still consult the doctor and give birth in a hospital. Basanth gives her the medicines and vows to fulfill her wish. He tells her that he will have the best doctors take care of her and even if he has to fight with Maasa for this, he will do it. He then goes out and sits in the garden thinking. Maasa stealthily comes in to Gehna's room while she is sleeping. She keeps all the jewels and leaves. Gehna wakes up to see the jewels. She remembers all that happened earlier in the day.
In the morning, Gehna comes to the puja room. Maasa sees that she isn't wearing any jewellery. She indirectly tells Sumitra that the family women had to wear jewellery all the time. Gehna goes to her room and packs all the jewellery she has. She also keeps aside a small pouch. Anandi comes there to read her Ramayan as Maasa has instructed her. Gehna agrees, but tells her to come later.
Gehna comes to maasa and returns all the jewellery saying she didn't have the "hesiyat" to wear it. Maasa again insists that the house bheendni's had to wear jewellery for the family's happiness. gehna then tells her that she will indeed wear jewllery, but only the one her mother has given her. Maasa is pissed at this. She thinks to herself that it was wrong to get Basanth married to such a stubborn and arrogant girl.
Maasa comes to Sumitra in the kitchen. She gives her a list of desi medicines to get from the market for gehna. She also tells her to get some herbs. Maasa intends to make some ladoos for gehna to give her more strength. She tells Sumitra that she too cares for Gehna, especially now since she has agreed to bear her grandson. She instructs Sumitra to not tell Gehna that she made the laddoos. She also tells Sumitra to convince Gehna to wear lot of jewellery. She turns around to see Gehna standing there.
Precap : Doctor comes home and Maasa thinks Bhairav called him. She asks him to get out, but Basanth comes there telling her that he called the doctor......oooooh SSSLAAPPP!!!
