Update for Monday, Feb 2, 2009:

Rating: SS (somewhat sagikkable - ACD in two scenes)

Opening scene: Shanthi comes to Arjun's house and goes around, calling out for Anitha (she is suffering from temporary amnesia and has forgotten how Anitha insulted her last week).  There is no Anitha, of course, so she asks Arjun what happened, and he says that he has torn up the divorce notice, has listened to Karthik and Shanthi and done what they wanted, but Anitha has not turned up.  Shanthi tells him to go in person and call Anitha.

Abi visiting Kanakku in jail, says she is going to get him released, he says he has no interest in coming out now that his wife is dead and daughter is growing up elsewhere.  Abi says that she wants him to come out and live like before, he says that SKPD must be furious with him, and feels jail life is enough for him now.  Abi says that her father himself wants Kanakku to come out, and tells K that the lawyer will be coming soon with a release order. 

A police officer from the jail rings up ACD, who is dressed as always, uniform and frown in place, and informs him about the Abi - Kanakku meeting.  ACD asks him to send someone inside and find out about K's reaction and his present frame of mind.

Arjun goes to Karthik's house and rings the bell (aha, the door was shut for a change!) and it is opened by none other than Anitha.  She turns from him, so he tells her to stop and to return home with him.  She refuses, saying that he hurt her deeply when he packed her clothes and sent her out of the house, and then sent her the divorce notice, and now how does he think that she will return just because he has called her and some more stuff to the effect that Shanthi came and saw her and she even asked her how many faces she has, and why should she return just because S is asking her to, and so on.  I have to say this, she sounds so arrogant here that no man would want to live with such a female.

Gani comes to see ACD - good to see him after so long! - and ACD takes him in to the interrogation room where Kandhu is waiting for them.  ACD asks Kandhu about Divya, and of course, Kandhu denies all knowledge of her.  Then he asks Kandhu how he knew Dinesh, and Kandhu says that D had come to him for a loan, and he got the money for him.  Upon pressing by Gani and ACD, Kandhu reluctantly admits having borrowed the money from Abi to lend to Dinesh.  Then he claims that the loan amount was Rs. 75 lakhs.  ACD asks him why Abi, who was RK's DIL at the time, couldn't give the money directly to Dinesh, who is RK's SIL, and why Kandhu had to be the conduit.  He asks Kandhu if the loan amount has been repaid, and Kandhu says that some is still due.  Then ACD tells him that the actual amount borrowed was Rs. 15 lakhs, but Abi and K jointly changed the amount on the document to Rs. 75 lakhs, and when Dinesh was asked to pay the enhanced amount, he created a racket and said that since Divya was present at the time that he borrowed the money, he would produce Divya as his witness.  At this point, Gani tells Kandhu that he said that Divya had already been disposed of, and Kandhu looks like he has been trapped.  I am not sure if I got all of it here, if I have missed something, please fill in, folks.

Palayamkottai jail - Abi's lawyer goes in and meets the jailer.  Kanakku is released, and he says "Poittu varen" to the jailer, who says that he doesn't want to hear that, he doesn't want anyone to come back to the jail.  Kanakku comes out with the lawyer, looks around, says that he was hoping someone from his family would come to see him, since his village is nearby.  The lawyer asks him to go with him to see SKPD, but he says that he would like to visit his family first, so the lawyer says that he will explain to SKPD and he leaves.  Kanakku leaves after him, but is stopped by four men who get down from another van and ask him to get into the van with them.  He asks them who they are, and they say that they are SKPD's men.  He is forced to get in wtih them.

Arjun goes to see Shanti and she asks him if Anitha returned home with him.  He says that she did not, and when Shanthi asks if he created any problems there with Anitha, he explodes, saying that she is the one creating problems.  The camera freezes on Shanthi's face.

Update for Tuesday, Feb 3, 2009:

Rating: SS (somewhat sagikkable -  2 scenes with ACD, and some movement on the SKPD front)

Opening scene: Arjun and Shanthi - Shanthi asks him if he created any prachnai when he met with AA, and he says that he did exactly what he was told to do, Shanthi asked him to tear up the divorce notice and he did so, Karthik asked him to meet AA in person to call her back and he did so, but her reply was to let him know that he will "see in due course" what her reply is going to be.  Shanthi explains to him about AA's ego, and tells him to go again after a couple of days.  He leaves in a frustrated mood, and I am sympathetic with him here, because AA came across as arrogant and obnoxious, not as someone to be sympathised with because he kicked her out of the house.  Her attitude has been insufferable towards her husband from the time I started watching this show.  Oops, sorry, this is supposed to be an update, so I will give my opinion on AA later.

ACD looking grim, waiting in the middle of some deserted street.  The van with Kanakku comes and the men alight, with Kanakku in tow.  ACD dismisses the guys and talks to Kanakku, asking him where he is headed now that he has been released thanks to Abi's efforts.  Kanakku says that he is going to SKPD, of course, and ACD tells him that he can either go back to his old ways and work with SKPD, or he can choose to reform and work with the police.  Kanakku says he will co-operate with the police so ACD tells him to keep a close eye on SKPD's movements and report on them, as well as on Abirami's movements, to the police.  Kanakku agrees.

Charu and Abirami - Charu asks Abi to sign something, and Abi sees that Charu is starting some new business in Abi's name.  She says she does not need this, and Charu says that she has always wanted to do something for her daughter, and this way, she can again become a successful industrialist.  Abi tells her that she had problems with the harbor contract, and C tells her that the problems were created by SKPD to make it difficult for C and to make it look like he was helping A.  Finally, Abi agrees and signs the document.

Gani comes to ACD's office.  ACD is talking to someone about having police check posts set up to check every vehicle around some place at night.  Gani reports on his efforts to locate Meesai Mariyappan (they have corrected the name, thanks to our vigilant crew!) and says that there was a maligai store person who directed him to MM's house.  When he reached the house, Mrs. MM was just replacing the phone (evidently the maligai store person has called her to warn her) and she told Gani that MM was away in veLiyoor.  He then said that he had to hand over some money from Kandhu to MM and showed her the cash, and then she thought for some time and told him that she would take the cash and hand it over.  When he insisted on handing it over in person, she said that she would let her husband know when he returned and then Gani could give it to him.  ACD concludes that MM must be hiding somewhere, and says that since they have been tapping Kandhu's land line as well as his cell phone, Kandhu must have sent someone to MM's place to warn him.

Abi and SKPD - daddy and daughter sit down on the couch and Abi tells him about mommy submitting a tender in her name.  SKPD turns his face away when he hears about C, and A asks him to listen fully.  She explains about the harbor contract, and says that C has submitted a tender for Rs. 20 lakhs.  She says that if SKPD submits a tender for Rs. 25 lakhs, then he will get the contract, and she wants him to slowly build up his empire again and rule like he used to do.  Daddy is thinking after she leaves ... FREEZE

Update for Feb 4, 2009:

Rating: Watchable - Charu pulls a fast one on Abi and SKPD.👏

Opening scene: A van draws up outside SKPD's house and Kanakku steps out.  (Ques - this is the same van which took Kanakku to meet ACD - does this mean that the white veshti guys are already in ACD's camp?)   Abi receives him warmly and takes him inside to see SKPD.  SKPD greets him and asks if he went and saw his daughter, he says he has come directly to see SKPD, and falls at his feet, asking for forgiveness.  SKPD says he is forgiven, Abi is the one who secured his release and she is the one to be thanked, and Abi says that her dad can be separated from his shadow, but he cannot be separated from Kanakku.   Mushy, mushy dialogs here!  (Looks like the script writers decided to earn their pay finally!) SKPD tells Abi to give some cash to Kanakku, Kanakku says that he doesn't need any money, it is enough if he is given a little bit of space to mudangify and stay near SKPD.   Abi leaves after telling Kanakku to look after her dad well and to cook good food for him (and I thought all along that Kanakku took care of the accounts for her dad, I didn't know he was the cook!).

Shanthi lighting the lamp in front of Raji's portrait, Dinesh comes to see her.  She asks him about the visit to ACD's office, he asks her how she came to know about it (she is omniscient, doesn't he know that?) and he says it looks like they have been dusting Divya's file and reopening it.  She is worried that some new problems may crop up for their family (and I thought she was going to leave that family), becomes agitated when Dinesh mentions that Abirami had also gone to the police station in that connection, and says that Abirami may cause new problems, and she will go and see ACD about it.

Beach scene, a cool breeze is blowing and the sky is a clear, tropical blue (my front and back yards are covered in snow and it is biting cold outside and I will gladly give my right hand for some warmth!) and some people are sitting on chairs, Srinivasan being one of them.  Abi comes and sits in one of the vacant chairs in the front row, and then looks around and sneers at Seenu.  Now a van comes and SKPD alights, comes and sits beside Abi baby.  The auction starts, and the tenders are read aloud one by one.  Seenu has bid Rs. 19 lakhs, then Charu's bid is read as Rs. 20 lakhs, and then SKPD's bid is read out as Rs. 25 lakhs, and it is accepted.  SKPD goes up and signs the documents, Abi tells him that she will go home and tell her mother the news and gloat over the disappointment in her mom's face.  As SKPD is getting into his car, Seenu comes and stops him.  He asks SKPD if he is unaware of the present market conditions, and says that the last tender went for Rs. 14 lakhs, and this time he bid Rs. 19 lakhs, Charu bid Rs. 20 lakhs, and SKPD has bid Rs. 25 lakhs.  He tells SKPD that his loss on this is Rs. 10 lakhs, and in this economy, it is a big amount, and he says he knows who talked him into bidding this high a figure, and thus increasing his loss.  SKPD is stunned.

Abi goes home and is stopped by Charu, who asks how this could have happened.  Just as Abi finishes gloating over the fact that it went to her father, Charu says that she bid Rs. 20 lakhs because she wanted to set her daughter up, but Abi went and told SKPD about it and gave him the figure so "andha muttal unnai nambi poi Rs. 25 lakhs bid panni contract win pannirukaru".  Abi is stunned.  Then Charu calls up SKPD and tells him that she will make him lose more and more, or something to that effect.  No flies are dancing on Abi's face (Abi mugathil ee aadavillai!).

Madhavan mama comes to RK's house, grumbling all the while about having to come there, calls out to Shanthi.  She is busy putting the pillow into its case, says "oh oh mama is here, hope he doesn't start any more problems" and goes down to meet him.  He asks her why she is still here and has she still not brought the couple together.  She says that she is still talking to them (in which case, why is she sticking her nose into Dinesh going to ACD's office?) and he asks her how long is this taking, and why?  FREEZE on Shanthi's face ...

Update for Feb 5, 2009:

Rating: Somewhat sagikkable - one scene with ACD, Abi back in action, and one scene with Kandhu.

Opening scene: Madhavan Mama and Shanthi - Mama wants to know when Shanti is planning to return to the village, and has she reunited the warring couple.  Shanthi says that she is talking to both of them, and asks Mama to go and wash his hands and have some food.  Mama refuses, says he doesn't like to come to Chennai, and hands a bag over.  He says it has all her clothes and things in it, as well as the land documents (what land documents are we talking about?).  He doesn't believe Shanthi has any plans to return, and he tells her to stay there itself, she seems to owe so much to her RK mama, and to just let him know when his grand daughter comes of age, and then he will come to see her from the gramam.  Shanthi is looking helpless.

Abi comes to see daddy dearest.  She apologizes for causing losses to her dad, and says she had no idea of her mother's plans.  SKPD says he had hoped that with Abi staying with her mother, Charu would reform (??) and eventually come back to live with him, but she will never thirundhufy.  Now who is supposed to thirundhufy?  Abi says that she will do the same as her mother did, stay with her and bring her down just as she brought losses to SKPD.  She says that if her mother can do it to her, so can she and leaves with another "Sorry" to her papa.

Shanthi goes to the Police commissioner's office to see ACD.  ACD welcomes her and asks her how she is doing, she says she is concerned about his calling in Dinesh and hopes there are no fresh problems for their family as Abi had also been called in.  ACD clarifies that the new commish, Vincent, has asked them to clear up the outstanding cases and that is why they have reopened the investigation into Divya's murder case.  They may have to call in Dinesh again in this connection, and he tells Shanthi not to worry.  She thanks him and leaves.

Kandhu comes to meet Abi by the swimming pool in SKPD's house..  Abi wants to know why he called her at Charu's place and tells him that the only safe place is at SKPD's where only her dad and Kanakku are there.  Kandhu tells Abi about Gani looking for Meesai Mariyappan and ACD reopening the investigation.  Abi says that MM is supposed to be in hiding, and K says that Gani has gone to MM's hiding place itself.  Abi tells him not to worry, and she will talk to her dad and have him take care of MM.  Incidentally, Kandhu had more grey hair the other day when ACD was interrogating him, his head as well as his mustache had a liberal sprinkling of grey, but today his meesai was a solid black, and there was very little grey on his head also.  Is he growing younger by the day?  Kanakku has been listening to all this from behind one of the walls, and I could see him very clearly, so it looks like he has never learned to hide himself, at the least, when he is eavesdropping.

Priya comes to the temple and lo and behold, who should follow her but the great Abi herself.  Abi sees Priya and a calculating look comes into her eyes, she goes and stands behind Priya and after Priya asks for an archana for Durai, she asks for an archana for SKPD.  Flash, flash, Priya looks and sees her, and Abi has this knowing look on her face.  When the archana is over, Priya turns and walks off, but Abi follows, calls to Priya.  Priya ignores her and keeps walking, but Abi calls again, so she stops.  Abi says that she ignored them the other day at Charu's house because she was worried about other matters, and Charu made her realise her error.  I suppose that is her idea of an apology.  Then she asks Priya if that "khaki sattai karan, adhaan andha kadamai karan, unga ACDkku un netri pottu mele akkarai illaiya?"  Priya is shocked.  FREEZE on Priya's shocked face ....

Update for Friday, Feb 6, 2009:

Rating: WW (worth watching - Abi in action, two scenes with ACD, 2 seconds' worth of ACD - Priya romance!)

Opening scene: Abi and Priya in the temple.  Abi giving her so-called advice to Priya about taking care of her mangalyam, and Priya looking like a scared lamb.  Abi reminds Priya how the famous Encounter specialist ACD was standing right next to Alex when the latter was killed and it would have taken only one shot to finish off ACD too, and tells Priya to tell ACD that while it was great to be the encounter specialist before he got married, now that he is married, he should realize that he has added responsibility and he should take steps to take care of his life.  I have no idea why Priya stood there looking like a stricken lamb, instead of telling Abi to mind her own business  and buzz off.

ACD comes home and calls out for Priya.  She is standing in the kitchen, has changed from the morning's green sari to a yellow sari, he asks her when she returned home from work, she says she did not go to work since she had a headache.  He asks if she got the headache from the temple, she is wondering how he guessed and then he asks her who it was that she met at the temple who threatened her.  Finally she admits to having met Abi, and ACD asks if Abi told her stuff like ACD's life is in danger and used the mangalyam sentiment to scare her.  He tells her he expected more from her, he expects her to be a brave wife of an encounter specialist, and tells her to turn around on Abi next time and tell her to be careful about her own life.  Finally, just when I had given up, he actually patted Priya and asked her to get him some thayir vadai (so it looks like some script writer was actually awake or has gone through the previous scripts or has been reading our columns diligently!).  The romance part of the scene lasted all of ...TWO long seconds.

Abi has changed into a pink sari and is waiting for SKPD in his house.  Daddy comes inside, she takes him upstairs because she has something private to discuss with him, then she finally tells him that she is in some big trouble and only he can save her.  He tells her he will do anything for her since she is the one who secured his release from prison, and she tells him about MM.  SKPD asks her what she wants done, and she asks him to put MM in the kadal (at least that's what I think she said).  SKPD tells her not to worry and then reassures her that he will arrange to take care of MM, without involving Abi or himself. 

Scene shifts back to the police Commissioner's office - ACD is looking at some files, Babu comes in and tells him that Kanakku is there to see him, Kanakku comes in and tells him about Kandhu coming to SKPD's house to meet Abi (Kanakku is such an idiot, what if someone sees him coming to the police Commish's office?)  ACD asks him why they met there, was SKPD there at the time, how was Abi at the time, was she looking tensed, and so on.  Kanakku says he couldn't hear the conversation but Abi looked agitated, and then she told Kandhu to leave and said that she would take care of it herself.  Then she went upstairs, dialing some number on her cell phone as she went.  SKPD returned after a couple of hours, and she went upstairs with him and they discussed something.  Kanakku leaves after conveying all this.  ACD and Babu discuss all this after he leaves.

Night time, a police checkpost and every vehicle is being checked.  MM is in a white ambulance, which has its siren blaring, and there are three other guys in the ambulance.  The driver tells him to lie down and cover himself with a blanket, and they pass through the checkpoint.  They reach some old house, and one of the guys gives MM a bag of food, and tells him that they will be back.

Shanthi enters Abi's house, calling for Abi.  When Abi comes downstairs, Shanthi says she must be surprised to see her, and informs her that her time is up.  She reminds Abi of all the problems she created for Shanthi herself as a new bride in the RK household, then she talks of someone who died because of Abi (I could not follow this part, will someone who knows more about this person please clarify?), then she talks of how Abi poisoned Indhu's mind against her own mother and separated mother and daughter, and she says that now it is time for her to experience the punishment, and Shanthi herself is going to give it to her.  FREEZE ...

Monday 9/2/09

Continuation of Ex Omni confronting Abi in her den - "konja
nanja paavamaa pnniyirukke??? now it is pay back time
babyyy" Abi has her usual smirk and asks" well, I do not deny
any of the charges - whats new? and why did u enter the lion's
den?" Shanthi does the most intelligent thing - " you are getting
the punishment now...through ACD .....pack and be ready to go to
abacus training....." Abi fumes....Shanthi leaves.... ( ayyoo yen arivu
kozhundhe.....sollame seyya maatingalaa???)

Meesai is dropped at the sea side - the men say that their territory
is over and MM will be picked up a new set of thugs to be taken to
the launch. MM is all alone and another car comes with 3 men.
Their hair cut confirms that they are the police personnel (Roja
kku theriyarathu..aana criminal MM misses this!!) MM is asked to
get in to the car but before that MM calls the previous crew and informs
that his caretakers have arrived. The mobile is confiscated and MM
is pushed in to the car.

Abi comes to meet daddy - "daddyyyyyy..... intha Shanthi vanthu
yennai mirattaraa...vu vu vu..bayamaa irukku vu vu vu" Mottai is
livid with anger and says that he will thattufy Shanthi " chinnathaa
oru thattu, what say?" But pappa vetoes - " the police are waiting
for u to make a slip..... I will take care of Shanthi...but ACD is the
one who is likely to trouble me...that is when I need your help"
Mottai is all understanding " avan romba thullaraan.... Gopuram,
kodi maram and mahaans - ivanga nizhal ai mithikka koodathu
( oh really?? pray which category in these three gets the honor of
describing you??) avanukku naa mudivu kattaren" LKG pappa
is happy to get help.

Abi meets Kandhu - Kandhu says that life is not worth living -
"antha Ghani yai paartha nalla pambai pakkara mathiri irukku..
mamungo..ithukku neenga thaan mudivu kattanum" Abi feels
all important " MM ai naa serkka sonna edathile serthuttiya?"
Kandhu says that he engaged a few different men and got MM
to the launch. Abi is happy and consoles Kandhu " I will take
care, u go  back to searching for a bride..."

Mottai and kanakku - Mottai fumes that Shanthi threatened Abi.
Lists all the "good" done by his pappa - "how dare she comes and
talks  to my pappa??? " Kanakku does a nice act of kombu seevarathu -
"how dare she??? we have to  nip it in the bud/.." Mottai says
that Abi wants him to keep quiet - "the reason she gives is
valid as well" Kanakku is smart " enna solli iruppanga?? Police
is watching..so lie low...athaane??" Mottai is surprised " ada ada
ner le ketta mathiri solre.." Kanakku says that he knows mottai and
pappa very well - "but u cant keep quiet just because Abi says!!
She is concerned about you.... if u feel that Abi's happiness is
important..... you should visit shanthi.. Kolai ya panna poringa?
just some mirattal...period" Mottai is all pepped up ..jumps into
the car and goes too see Shanthi - "Shanthi ...SKPD daughter
Abi yai miratta...how dare u? Shanthi has asmile...

Bon , did u say 19 more episodes?? ends in early March??? hmmmmm Rojaaaaaa be optimistic, ok??? If what u say is true Bon, today's episode is one of those wasted one - like some 2000 and odd episodes??!!!!

Empty challenges galore - back and forth - hmmmmm Mottai warns Shanthi - "how dare u threaten my pappa?? You did her wrong by getting Rohini hooked on to Madan!!! Look, Abi is my daughter, she will even commit murders .. why, I have done quite a few myself!!! Whoever opposes me looses life - what happened to Alex?? Last warning baby, keep off my pappa ...or else ..you and your whole kudumbam will have to grace Besant  Nagar electric crematorium..." Shanthi listens to all this and now it is her turn to challenge - " you do not know what this Shanthi is capable of.... gentle aa iruntha breeze  .... kovam vanthaa athu typhoon.... so from now on it will be typhoon Shanthi....pO" ( Roja goes to the nearest wall, wants to bang her head but gets wise - intha serial kkaaga thalai yai odaichikka ava enna Shanthi yaa?? illatta maanga vaa??)
Mottai leaves. .... Shanthi .......

Goes straight to meet Abi ( ai ai, nee mattum thaan appa kitte poi azhuviyaa?/enakkum oru edam irukku di yooyyy) Abi has gone jalan jalan ( athu enga veet le irukkum??eppo paarthalum Oor suthum) Omni meets ex omni - ex says that Abi sent mottai to threaten her - Omni says that pappa and appa are capable of this and more.."hmmm OKS murder le antha aalai pidichu thookile poda vendiyathu. ...MM bulti adichuttan.." Ex looks as if she is hearing all this for the first time ( maanju maanju
kudumbame paper padichinga???) Having come, ex wants to have the last word -" mottai and pappa will meet their end... Shanthi will do the honors..." leaves...drives ( hi hi Shanthi gear change panni car drive panraa doyyyy) Goes home, digs all the old newspapers....sees the "Mottai release" news...calls her friend lawyer and makes an appointment to see the PP who defended the case..( antha PP , when she was alive could not reform mottai....ippo intha PP, ennavO pOngappa...)

Abi comes home - Omni is upset - confronts but Abi says that she does what her heart desires....
" Shanthi came and threatened  me, appo it  did not hurt u!!! I went cried to my appa and he
took action..when she is threatened, u are upset?? are u really my mother??" Looks like Charu has the same doubt "exactly my sentiments baby!!! how did I lodge u in my tummy for 10 months??? Every time I see Mani jaan or Shanthi..... now why did I not have a daughter like them???anyways, I
tolerated you   .... tried to reform you....but.... time , u quit this household baby... get the H**L out of here..." Abi leaves but Charu stops...."Pack all your stuff.. I do not want to see anything here   ...." Abi goes up... Charu faces the camera...

Shanthi visits PP with her lawyer. PP explains the modus operandi of mottai's
acquittal - " Alex took the initiative and nabbed the driver Kennedy - the one
who drove OKS to escape. Kennedy first accepted that it was SKPD who hit
OKS by an iron rod. But later changed it .." Shanthi wants to know "what if
Kennedy is found again and brought to the court?" Will the law send SKPD
for abacus training?" PP says that it is possible. Now Shanthi asks for the
address of the driver Kennedy ( driver address, photo, horoscope, hideouts
ellam sollunga....apram paarunga intha Sooravali Shanthi samarthiyathai....😉)
PP furnishes the details. Shanthi thanks him for the enormous help.

Pappa arrives with bags and baggage (not THAT baggage) to appa's house.
Mottai is surprised -"pappa, chellam yen amma thorathittaa??" Pappa says
 that mottai's visit to Shanthi is the sole reason. Mottai is happy to have pappa
and tells her that Charu does not realise the VALUE of mottai and pappa -
"kaataren, avalukku...na yaarunnnu... " ( Gundu onnu vaichirukken - BG by Roja)
Abi warns appa to lie low ..mottai says that he will take care of things.....

Sevakumaru and Gurupadam - outside a shop..sipping a cool drink and
discussing their professional woes....Pachiappan also arrives and the trio
is seen by inspector Ghani. Ghani asks them about Kandhu but they deny
any knowledge. Ghani leaves and Sevakumaru calls Kandhu... by the public
phone..and warns... Kandhu says that he is in a restaurant....Sevakomaru leaves
and the phone is picked by Ghani.... redials and knows the name of the
restaurant..... Kandhu is nabbed... after some little running...

is hand cuffed and taken away along with MM. ACD asks Ghani to file the FIR -

Shanthi comes in search of Kennedy ..house is locked... "hmm, I came all

Another NWW episode.....Roja frets.... innum konjam dragging bakki
 yirukka??? kadavule.....

SS (with due apologies to Mr.Sakshi Shiva - this is Sherlock
Shanthi😉) pulls the lock and makes sure that Kennedy is
missing. Lucky SS - one guy comes out of the next house and
asks her " enna venum??yaarai thedaringaa??" ( must have
got suspicious...awww ippo ipdi decent lady aa vanthu house
 breaking nadakkuthaa???) SS wants to know about Kennedy
but the guy immediately retreats "ayyo, antha aalaa?? ennai vidunga"
SS gets more lucky - 2 women come out of the opposite
house and tell her that Kennedy is in the hospital -"daughter kku
accident..." That is it - SS darts out - like a sharp arrow from a
bow ( which hospital??? address?? awww easy My dear Watsons
apram na epdi SS??)

Charu visits Madan and Rohini - laments about Abi going from bad
to worse -"malaysia le problem... I can't go..want u to go..." Madan
agrees ( enna aachu ivarukku??oru thick dhadi...sick look....hmm)
Charu tries to pack off Rohini as well but Rohini wants to stay
where action is - So Madan will be off from this drag,, I guess
hmmm kuduthu vaicha mahanubhavan!!!!

SS lands exactly at THE ( Rojaaa are u happy?? I did justify your

hospital and is directed to Kennedy's abode - Kennedy is begging Abi for
money.... " please madam, just this once....my daughter...." Abi denies
any payment "You have been amply compensated .....no more..every
time you have a need, u will come to me??? Do this again and ....you
will have to occupy the bed next to your daughter. SS hides and listens
 to all this...Abi leaves....Kennedy leaves.... SS follows suit.....

Kennedy goes straight to the Church ( church le kadan laam
kudukkaraangalaa??? Roja makes a mental note😉) SS
plays Mary's lamb..... Kennedy prays..cries some....and goes
for confession....muted dialog.... Father hears all and says
" Jesus forgives you as you are repenting for your sins"
All this is watched by SS ... the cog wheels in her brain
are taking part in the  F1 race..... "Kennedyyyyy..." ( ayyo
American presidents le ye Rojakku pidichavar ivar thaan...

daughter is suffering for his sins - "now sing the truth and i will
save your daughter....." muted talk..... Kennedy calls SS "deivam ma

Abi is waiting for some one....kutti potta poonai mathiri walking

Rojaaaaaaaaaaaaa) Some one called Raju comes and gives
the details..." police are very strict.... Kandhu and MM are in police
custody..." Abi pales...... asks for details " did they ask Kandhu
about me??" Raju says that the interrogation room is out of
bounds for spies like him....Raju is dispensed " get me hot news
as and when u get, ok??" Abi is upset.... recalls the visit of SS
sweats....smirks....

SS arrives to meet the original SS - "Sir, that driver Kennedy
is ready to tell the truth in the court. ACD is not convinced -
"Alex did so much and nabbed him!!! But he bulti adichified
in the court!!! You can not trust these people, they will do any thing for
 money" Sherlock says " oh, yes, he was like that. Now he wants to
atone his sins.  His daughter met with an accident and he needed
money. Abirami refused to part with her "hard earned" money. I
chipped in and made him realize his misdemeanor(???!!!)  He feels
that it is his crime which affected his daughter ...so now
he is ready to sing....( yen arivu kozhundhe...original SS enna sonnar??
 Such people will do any thing for money nnu thaane???
nee ennavO  Kennedy ai Bhudha Bikshu vaa maathitta mathiri
pesare??? grrr) Anyways, SS wants protection for Kennedy -
"Abi might even kill him" Original promises to do the needful.

Pappa and appa - pappa is skeptical - "do  I spill the whole thing or

expose you... he knows that he would much rather  have a head

Hospital - Kennedy's daughter is fine... SS has paid the bills...

A restless Abi - waiting for the lawyer to come back from the court.
Lawyer comes back and says that Kandhu denied Abi's connection
in Divya's murder. Kandhu obviously was tutored by the lawyer.Kandhu
 is taken to judicial custody. Police are asked to provide more evidence...
Abi is also told that ACD is slightly upset..... Abi now  compares mommy
and daddy - " how you step in to help me?? But amma is not like that...
she is waiting to send u back to abacus training.." Mottai laughs and
asks pappa to take it easy..." I will take care of your mom.."  Pappa
leaves and mottai thinks " she is always a problem for me....

ACD is in the badminton court..... Mottai arrives and ACD gives a
"furrowed brow " look and pulls out his gun from the bag. Mottai
smiles and says " You must remember your age and engage in
activities that would suit you... ippo aadi tired aagittinga...."
ACD has that "I can just burn you with my eyes"look  and holds his
pistol facing up... and loookkkkssss
