Highlights : Daadisa and Suguna bond before the upcoming gauna.
Sumitra and Bhairav too are emotional about the impending departure of Suguna
Daadisa takes Suguna to her room. She pulls out an old trunk. Suguna says that she has never seen this trunk before and Daadisa smiles that even her own sons have not seen this trunk. The trunk is full of jewellery and clothes that belonged to Daadisa when she was married to Daadusa. She shows Suguna all these things and gives away a lot of them to Suguna. She also plans to have some of the old jewellery remade for Suguna. Suguna is very happy. Suguna sees a beautiful red lehenga. Daadisa says that Daadusa bought it for her from Calcutta. Daadisa remembers him and feels sad. Suguna teases her that Daadusa loved her a lot and Daadisa feels shy. Suguna tells Daadisa that she must have looked very pretty in the lehenga and that Daadusa must have been really happy. Daadisa feels sad and says that he passed away before she could wear the lehenga. She remembers Daadusa and talks to Suguna about it. Suguna feels really bad for Daadisa. She hugs her and cries.
Suguna tells Daadisa that she always thought that she loved only Jagya since he was a boy and that she is very surprised that she loves Suguna so much. Daadisa chides Suguna for thinking that way and says that she loves her equally, but that it saddens her that Suguna now belongs to Pratap's family. Suguna wonders why girls are not loved as much as boys. Daadisa says that it is not so and that girls are the family's pride. Once married, they had to act and behave well in their Saasra so as to not bring bad name to their parents family. Because of this girls are dealt with more strictly since they want the girl to learn to face tough situations and also be able to manage in the saasra if they turn out to be very strict. She starts to talk about Suguna's gauna and starts crying. Suguna hugs her and cries too. Sumitra who is standing outside the room watches all this and feels happy and cries.
Suguna calls Pratap and she tells her about Daadisa's conversation. She also tells Pratap that she can't meet him anymore as she has promised Gehna. Both of them look forward to the gauna.
Sumitra comes to Bhairav who is all soaked from the rain. She starts to wipe his head with a towel. She tells him happily about how Daadisa was being so loving to Suguna giving her gifts, sharing memories etc. Bhairav says that his mother was a really warm hearted person,but for family respect and to follow rules, she ends up showing herself in bad light. Bhairav and Sumitra think about Suguna going away and start to cry. Anandi comes there saying she has cut all the veggies for dinner and also made halwa for Gehna. She sees that Bhairav's coat has a button missing and insists that she will mend it. As she sits mending the coat, Sumitra and Bhairav watch her and thank god that they have Anandi to fill the void of Suguna and hope that Suguna's in-laws treat her like a daughter too..

PS : Daadisa was sooooo sweet today, it was a really nice scene
