Highlights : Anandi's father pawns his land to gift something for Suguna's gauna
Suguna spends some emotional moments with her mother and family
Gehna is in her room thinking. Anandi comes there with the halwa she made for her. Gehna tastes it and says that it is very tasty. She also tells Anandi to not call her "nayi thaiji", but just thaiji. Anandi talks to Gehna about how she will take care of Gehna's baby. Gehna feels good and smiles. Anandi tells Gehna to start collecting dowry for the baby and Gehna is surprised how Anandi knows about dowry. Anandi says that Daadisa told her about it since they were buying a lot of things as dowry for Suguna and that she told Anandi to see everything so that she can tell her parents about how much dowry should be given. Gehna feels bad that Anandi does not even realise that daadia was being sarcastic. She tells Anandi that giving and taking dowry was not a good thing.
Anandi's father is looking at his farm land papers. Bhagwati asks him what he is doing, but he brushes it off. Upon Bhagvati forcing him, he tells her that he was going to pawn the land so that they could give something nice for Suguna's gauna, otherwise Daadisa would insult them in front of everyone. Bhagwati refuses and tells him not to pawn their only source of income. Khajan tells her that they had not harvested anything this year, they still had not repaid the loan from Anandi's wedding and gauna, so he had no choice. He doesn't listen to his wife and leaves to pawn the land. Bhagwati cries miserably that the happiness in the house had left with Anandi. They had nothing but problems and worries ever since they got Anandi married into a big house.
Suguna comes to the kitchen and tells Sumitra that she would cook everything tonight. Sumitra tells her to spend some time with Anandi and Jagya instead, but Suguna tells her that she wants to spend some time with her mother. She apologises to her mother for any trouble she has ever caused her and also says that she wishes that if she is born again as a girl, she would want Sumitra and Bhairav to be her parents again. Sumitra cries and tells her that her memories will always be with everyone in the house. She also tells Suguna to tell them if she has any problems in her saasra.
The women serve dinner at the table. Maasa sees that there is a whole lot of food and asks Sumitra if there was something special. Sumitra happily tells her that Suguna cooked for everyone. Everyone is very happy. Daadisa blesses Suguna to be happy. She tastes the food and tells her it is very tasty. Suguna happily looks on...
