Highlights : Everyone is sad about how Suguna is leading her life
There is an uneventful holi at the haveli where no one is celebrating
Suguna is in her new room reading ramayan. Gehna comes there with pillow and blanket for her. She asks Suguna why she has to lead this difficult life when she, Basanth, Bhairav and Sumitra were ready to support her against Maasa's rules. Suguna says that she is punishing herself for her mistake. Had she not insisted on her gauna or had she not insisted that Pratap bring her yellow flowers, he would have still been alive. Gehna tells her that her grief has made her think without logic. Once a few days pass she would see that all this didn't matter and that she is not to be blamed for Pratap's death. Suguna goes back to reading ramayan.
Maasa asks Bhairav to forgive her for being so strict with Suguna, but rules had to be followed. Bhairav is not convinced and tells her that these rules where all man-made and it didn't matter if they were followed or not. They have some argument about this. Bhairav decides to talk to Suguna about changing her mind.
Anandi comes to Sumitra and asks her if she can sleep with Suguna in her new room. Sumitra refuses. She puts Anandi to sleep. She remembers Suguna and goes to her room. She sees Suguna sleeping on the floor. She gently lifts her head and puts in on her lap. She cries as Suguna keeps murmuring Pratap's name in sleep. Bhairav watches this from outside the room.
In the morning, its holi. Suguna heads towards the temple. She sees some people playing holi and remembers her last holi with Pratap. Some kids try to put color on her but are stopped by a man. Suguna goes towards the temple for darshan.
Jagya removes packets of color from his closet. Anandi tells him to not play holi since Suguna was so sad. Jagya tells her that he plans to throw all the color out. The kids talk about how much fun they normally have during holi. They tease each other that next year would be a very fun holi with each coloring the other....
