Highlights : The whole family goes to the temple.
Badi maasi starts to make Basanth realise his mistakes
All the family members along with Phooli arrive at the temple. Anandi eyes a gola stand next to the temple. She tells Jagya to get her a gola. Jagya tells her to come along too. He asks Suguna to come too, but she refuses. Jagya drags her not listening to her lame excuses. All the kids happily eat gola. Jagya blurts out something about Pratap which upsets Suguna. He manages the situation by making her laugh abt some silly jokes.
At the temple, Maasa points to all the land around the temple and tells her sister that all that land belongs to them. After her husband died, she had struggled to accumulate all this wealth as per her husband's wishes. Badi maasi tells Maasa that she is proud of her achievement.
Inside the temple, a few widows sit there singing bhajans. Everyone is impressed by their bhajan. Maasa realises that the kids are missing. She goes out looking for them and finds them hurrying towards the temple, golas in hand. She starts yelling at them, but Badi maasi comes there and tells her to let go of the kids. Again inside the temple, Badi maasi asks Gehna to sing a bhajan for aarti. Maasa doesn't like this. Gehna sings and everyone is surprised about how well she sings. Maasa dismisses it off as something that's not important.
At night, Badi maasi comes to Basanth and asks him what was the matter with him and Gehna. At first he lies, but Badi maasi sees through his lies. He then tells her that Gehna had not accepted him as her husband and that he had tried everything to change that. Badi maasi makes him understand that he only did what he pleased and only bought her materialistic things that he thought would make Gehna happy. In order to change Gehna, he will have to think about HER likes and dislikes. Basanth is surprised by this line of thought. Badi maasi suggests that Gehna should learn singing as she seems to like singing. Basanth is left thinking......
Precap : Basanth asks Maasa to let Gehna learn singing. Maasa gets bugged and yells at him saying this would never happen...
