Highlights : Gehna's music classes begin
Everybody is impressed by the new teacher and Gehna's talent, but Maasa is not
Bhairav goes to his old tabla teacher and requests to come home immediately to start music lessons for his bhabhi. The old man says that he is going out of town to finalise a wedding proposal for his son, so he won't be able to start for another week. Bhairav insists that the lessons need to start from today since Maasa has agreed with difficulty and he doesn't want her to change her mind. The old man then suggests that he will send his son and Bhairav agrees. They both discuss about how good Bhairav was at tabla and how interested he was to pursue music. Looks like Maasa had discouraged this too. Bhairav leaves sadly reminiscing his old days..
At home, badi maasi arranges for a screen behind which Gehna can learn music without being seen by her teacher. Just then word comes that the teacher was there. A really young man enters the room. Badi maasi introduces him and is surprised that he is so young. He then tells her that his father used to teach Bhairav music. He looks around for his pupil and badi maasi tells him that she is behind the curtain. He is a little puzzled by this. Badi maasi leaves. The young teacher asks Gehna to sing something and she does. He is impressed by her voice. He then starts to teach her a song. As both of them sing, the kids stand outside the room spying on the happenings. All the adults sit in the hall listening and are amazed at how well Gehna sings. Maasa in her room keeps grumbling to herself, not at all happy.
Maasa comes out of her room to investigate what's happening. She sees the kids outside the room and yells at them and drives them away. This noise distracts the teacher. He stops and Gehna asks him to continue. The music resumes. Maasa comes closer to the room to inspect. She sees the young man singing in Gehna's room and leaves in a huff. She goes to the kitchen and vents about this to Sumitra saying this was a shameful thing for her family. She keeps commenting about the whole situation and leaves finally yelling at Sumitra too....
Precap : Badi maasi asks Bhairav and Sumitra to resume Suguna's schooling so that she can be independant in the future....YIPPEEEE....am more happy about this than the music or the widow remarriage
