This is our 38th FC. Congratulations and thanks to all the members for making it so popular!
About the gorgeous gal..

Deepika Padukone hails from a family of talent and is a shining star of today's cinema and there's no stopping her. She started her career in the modeling world at a tender age and over the years became the synonymous name for many brands like Levi Strauss, Maybelline New York, Tissot, Fiama di Wills Soap and had the opportunity to shoot for the much hyped Youngistan Pepsi ad with SRK and Ranbir Kapoor. She took the ramp by storm and conquered the commercial world and now is the donning the Bollywood industry. She debuted in Farah Khan directed, Red Chillies Production OM SHANTI OM with Shah Rukh Khan. From that day onwards, there has been no looking back for this young and beautiful girl from Bangalore.

Atul Kasbekar (Photographer): Deepika is the leggy Manglorean lass who the camera can't stop romancing. Ace photographer Atul Kasbekar, who has shot her at length, says, "She's a phenomenal model and has the makings of the next big superstar. She is a classic Indian beauty like a Madhuri Dixit or Rani Mukerji. Her appeal lies in her eyes."

Farah Khan (Director): Deepika is a classic beauty who has the poise of a South actress. She's also a fabulous dancer and after doing her screen test I was convinced she'll work for the film. I really felt as if I was launching my own daughter.

Paolo Roversi (Fashion Photographer) : "I've been an ardent admirer of the classic Indian look for years. Deepika has that and more. She also has a certain calming effect about her. She exudes regality in her stride and has the most beautiful pair of eyes."

Anupam Kher : Deepika was a student in his second batch (June-August 2005) and Kher remembers her as a diligent learner. Thanks kully for the pic and that cute video of ran-deep. I want Ran-Deep to do three more movies together...hehehehe But I do agree that Deepika looks better with older men... that's why I wasn't so sure about the imran pairing. I think Deepz looks good with farhan, aki and ranbir also has a grown look to him so yeah.

btw am I the only one who loved the movie Masti and Hey baby? LOL because I thought these two movies were too cute and funny. It's good to watch a comedy movie once in a while so I'm excite to see Deepika's role in Houseful. I wish Jiah wasn't in the movie because she annoys me.

Congrats on starting the new fanclub..

I doubt LAK will release on 26th june..one month is not enough to promote the film..especially the music...especially when it may have to release in single theaters..

I hope some one on FB could communicate to Imtiaz Ali ..to show more 'Butt' pics(Deepika's ) on the posters..the first 3 didn't leave much impact..

The butt poster was a big hit..

That single picture was more effective than Bebo's sensational bikini pics(there were at least a dozen other super hot pics) and promos of ... Kambaqht Ishq,released in the last week of march..

The graph in the google search site had a vertical erection on the day the poster was released..😆
