Highlights : Jagya is conned by Sunder
Maasa's change is apparent
Suguna is readied for her wedding.
Sunder comes to the haveli and tells Jagya that he wants his games CD back. He owes money to the CD guy and his father's money was delayed. Jagya offers to lend Sunder the money. Sunder pretends to refuse at first and then finally agrees. He is happy he fooled Jagya.
Suguna sits around all the clothes and jewellery, again remembering Pratap and all his gifts and how much he loved her. Suguna feels bad that after getting married to Shyam, she won't be able to known as Pratap's wife. Her baby too won't get Pratap's name. She silenty promises Pratap to only belong to him forever. Sumitra comes there and gives Suguna a beaded chain that she got for the baby from Kulayat. Sumitra tells Suguna that she may have not done much for Suguna and her baby, but she always prays for both of them. She tells Suguna that she will always be in her thoughts. Suguna hugs Sumitra. Bhairav watches from outside. Khajan comes there and consoles Bhairav.
Jagya counts money from his piggy bank. He doesn't have enough money to give Sunder. He thinks of asking Daadisa, but changes his mind and decides to ask Anandi instead. He drags Anandi out of the kitchen and asks for money and doesnt tell her why she needs it. Anandi gives the money to Jagya. Jagya gives the money to Sunder, who leaves happily. Anandi sees this and demands to know why he gave the money to Sunder. Jagya says that its a loan and Sunder would give it back. Anandi does not trust Sunder and threatens to tell Sumitra. Jagya asks her to keep quiet else, he will stop talking to her. Anandi decides to tell Sumitra after the wedding.
Maasa sits in front of God remembering Suguna's first gauna. She remembers all the happenings after that and how she sent Badi maasi away. Maasa talks to God and says that circumstances have made her stone-hearted. She was human too and cared for her family. She cries and pleads God to let everything to go well with Suguna. She would then come to the temple bare-footed for 40 days and light a lamp every morning. She turns around to see Basanth and Bhairav standing there shocked. She sends them away on some errands.
Sumitra dresses up Suguna, who sits like a statue. All the while Sumitra remembers how Suguna was stripped off her colorful clothes and jewellery when Pratap died. Suguna suddenly panics remembering her last gauna and starts crying. Sumitra consoles her. Maasa comes there and sends Sumitra away. Maasa tells Suguna that she is happy and feels she is seeing her old Suguna after a lifetime. She never thought that Suguna could get married again. She tells that when Shyam's proposal came first, she feared something bad happening again and that's why resisted it. She says that she will pray to God for Suguna's new life to be happy. Suguna starts crying. Maasa hugs her and consoles her.
Basanth comes there saying Badi maasi has sent Suguna her wedding gift. She has also sent a letter along wishing Suguna best wishes and love for the rest of the family. Maasa remembers that Suguna's remarriage was originally Badi maasi's idea. Maasa says that she knew Badi maasi wouldn't come. She repents for having hurt her. She shows Badi Maasi's gift to Suguna.
