Shyam warns MS to leave Suguna's family alone
Suguna regrets marrying Shyam
Scene continues from servant telling Kalyani's family that there was a fire at the godown. Maasa panics and wonders how it happened as this will result in a lot of loss. The servant then shows them an empty kerosene can that was found near the godown. Maasa and others start eyeing Shyam. Maasa leaves with her sons to save what they can at the godown. Shyam picks up the empty can and leaves, even as Sumitra tries to stop him. Anandi runs and tells this news to Jagya. Jagya runs out saying he will help. Anandi then starts bugging Gehna and Sumtira abt what will happen, who did this, where is Shyam etc. Sumitra who is already upset sends her away with Gehna.
Shyam comes to Madan Singh's haveli and throws the can on the floor. The women come out to watch. Tauji asks him what he is doing there. Shyam accuses Madan Singh of burning Bhairav's godown. Shyam asks MS why he is punishing Suguna's family when he is the one who left them. Tauji says that MS is innocent. MS tells Shyam that he indeed did light the fire at the godown. What can Shyam do? He asks Shyam how dare he enter this haveli and talks about the enmity etc. Shyam says that MS is wrong.
MS reminds Shyam that he is the one who ended the enmity. But Maasa's sons had never changed and had enticed Shyam using Suguna. Shyam tries to refute all this and asks MS why he wants to cause so much distress for Suguna's family. MS says that this is just the beginning and things will get worse from now. Shyam warns that every move that MS makes against Maasa's family has to go through him first. MS has to fight Shyam first. Radha and Tauji scold Shyam for turning against his own. Shyam then begs MS and co. to forget all this enmity.
MS starts to hit Shyam, bringing up all the usual stuff. He insults Suguna and Shyam gets angry. He yells at MS to stop and tells him to not say anything against his wife. MS starts hitting Shyam again and Shyam stops him. MS and co. are shocked. Shyam says he hasn't done anything wrong and has borne everything silently. He says he will not be silent henceforth and leaves. Tauji instigates MS again and tells him to make his next move carefully. Rash actions would result in MS going to jail.
Suguna feels bad that because of her the enmity with MS's family had been rekindled. Sumitra tries to console her. Suguna asks Sumitra why they got her married. She will never forget Pratap and she can never accept Shyam. And this enmity would only make matters worse. Sumitra says that she feels everything will be ok soon. Suguna is not convinced and keeps crying.
