An year ago(21/7/08) India was yet again gripped by a revolutionary storm in the name of Balika Vadhu which dared to take an unequivocal stand against the very fabric of the Indian orthodox society which was still plagued with innumerable superstitions/blind faiths/inhumanities. To say that it wasn't easy would be an understatement of it all because these beliefs have become a part and parcel of the people and to challenge their logic was like openly waging a war of conscience But hats off to the whole creative team and the ensemble of BV's caste that they marched ahead with this unique concept without much caring for the consequences. Within few days of its launch BV gave every single viewer a food for their thought after watching every single epi we would have left with a linger thought about the goring irony in which we all were living on the one hand we claimed that our country was soon turning into a World Superpower crossing all bounds of modernization and growth and on the other hand we were presented with such nude images of the atrocities happening against our very own woman in some nooks and corners of our villages It seriously served as a very blatant reality check for us all.

By upholding the shameful unjust and unbelievably cruel issue of Child Marriage BV seriously made us all feel the anguish of those who are subjected to this fate Not only did it showcase how a small innocent child is robbed off her innocence, her childhood, her dreams and the utmost security of her parents but also it portrayed the fatal consequences of early marriage and pregnancy Moreover it also depicted the animalistic treatment meted out to the widows and all the crass customs of taking them as some inauspicious witch who gobbled her husband down and hence was not entitled to even the basic of amenities of life It not only shackled the baselessness of all these assumptions and beliefs but also showed a whole fight for widow rights and remarriage Moreover tit showed the male chauvinist tilt of our society which is still omnipresent in every field be it in rural areas or in the modernest of metros It showed the godly treatment a boy child is given how he is showered with all the blessings to the striking contrast of the hardships which a girl child has to face right from the day she is born because with her birth comes the stale smell of unwelcome burden
By showing all these issue BV stands as a shining example of responsible media which is not concerned wid Trp ratings instead its more concerned wid spreading the message educating the masses gearing them towards a fight to end all thse menaces once and for all For the people who have suffered from these vices BV has been a blessing in disguise at least via it the whole country is now able to empathize wid them and the day isnt far wen all dis wld be thrown out of our botherwise beautiful impeccable culture for good and if that dy ever seens sun then BV wld have gotten its biggest ode to actually once again starting the Indian society revamp reform movement

With the completion of successful year for both channel(colors)and Balika Vadhu even our very own IF Section completed one year of full on masti-fun-dhamaal and not to forget the century of healthy discussions marked with great views of both tastes and distastes-Likes and dislikes from the show itself.
Time to time we had talked about some serious issues a part of which was also shown in the show itself by the means of Characters say if it was Anandi with her neverending quetionaire telling all about how a Kidooo is full of queries which he/she craves to know in order to gain the knowlege about the surrounding he/she is living in and many a times even the elders dont know or rather dont have the answers for particular questions which no doubt are filled with innocence but are also true if seen from an immature childs pov.Nevertheless we even talked about certain complicated things aswell which we thought creatives were dealing with nicely or if they should have dealt it with a more subtle way.
Recently we had a small meeting-reunioun typo inorder to talk about BV and our section on whole.And aha also our very own Member Awards,Shyam-Sugna(SS) FF writing contest and also our banner contest through which now our section is awarded with a new banner.
Our heartiest thanks to each and every one around there even to all the silent visitors for making section worthy and also a friendly hub where all the views are respected.Together we'd formed a bond which is unbreakable and ever-so-streching.
Congratulations to the entire BV creative team aswell as to all of us for our very first anniversary of friendship and love🤗
