Highlights : Maasa continues to torture Anandi

Jagya wishes for a miracle
Teej celebrations begin.
Anandi gets morning tea for Maasa. Maasa complains that the tea is horrible and asks Anandi to make it again. Anandi says that she made the tea just like always. Maasa yells at her and sends her away to make it again. She then gives a list of things to Sumitra to have Anandi do throughout the day. Jagya plays video games. Anandi knocks on his door with breakfast. Jagya hides the video game and opens the door. While cleaning his room, Anandi sees the video game. She guesses that Jagya locked the room to play instead of studying. Jagya brushes it off. Anandi asks Jagya if he will fast for Teej, but Jagya says he won't. He then gets an idea and goes to see Sumtira
Jagya asks Sumitra if he fasts on teej, will he get whatever he wishes for? Sumitra says he will. Jagya takes this literally and declares that he will fast on Teej. Bhairav comes home with Anandi's parents. Anandi is very happy to see them. Bhagwati congratulates Sumitra over Suguna's wedding. She meets Shyam. She also gives Suguna Shiv ling that she got from her pilgrimage. Everyone talk about teej. Maasa tells Suguna and Gehna that they dont need to fast since they are pregnant. Shyam offers to fast on behalf of Suguna. Everyone makes fun of him, but Shyam insists that he will fast. After talking to everyone, Anandi's parents get ready to leave. Maasa reminds Anandi to not break her fast like the previous year. Bhagwati instructs Anandi to keep up her fast without fail.
In MS's haveli, MS comes home. He sees the money that Shyam returned and grumbles about this. Radha shows him the saree that Shyam bought with his first salary. MS throws it away and tells Radha to not show it in front of him again.
At night, Jagya stealthily goes to God. He prays to God to help him get Rs. 10,000 so that he can pay the teacher and ace his exams. He keeps a handkerchief behind God's idol and asks God to keep the money under it for him (lol...I can't believe he's that dumb!!) As he is leaving, Anandi sees him and wonders what he is upto. Anandi prays to God and asks that Jagya should not be spoilt by Sunder's company.
In the morning, Shyam and Jagya sit around while preparations are made for the Teej celebrations. Jagya keeps thinking about his school problem. Anandi comes to the kitchen to tell everyone that the mehndi lady had arrived.
The women have mehndi applied on their palms. Shyam extends his palm too and everyone laugh at him. Shyam happily says that he wants to apply mehndi. Suguna leaves, disinterested. Jagya goes to God and checks behind the idol to find that there is no money. He is disappointed and asks Sumitra when he can expect results of his fast. Sumtira does not take him seriously. Jagya decides to go to Sunder's house.
In MS's haveli, Tauji and MS come home. MS asks for Radha and his bhabhi informs him that Radha doesn't talk to anyone these days and is always crying. MS goes to Radha and apologises for being rude to her. Radha tells him that he did nothing wrong. MS tells Radha that he understands what she is going through as he feels the same. He also had to face people when he went out. He laments about their situation and reminds Radha that they have to support each other now. Radha is touched by MS's concern. MS urges Radha to move on and Radha smiles.
At Khajan's house, Bhagwati and Govind's wife prepare for Teej. Govind comes to Khajan and tells him that the price of grains have gone up. Khajan is happy and says that he will go to the market the next day and sell everything so that he can free up his mortgaged land. Bhagwati hears this and is shocked.
