10th August Written Update-teej festival

epi starts with bhagwati finding out Karjan has morgaged their land, she says they are poor and whatever they do they cannot match Anandi's in-laws. Karjan says that food prices are high so he will sell that and they will get back their land.

Thanks a lot for the update! I ended up writing a detailed update as well for today's episode. If anyone is interested, then here you go:

Some man (Govind) comes to inform Anandni's father that "anaaj" price has increased and he can now sell them to free his land. The man asks him to leave tomorrow itself without informing Bhabhisa. Anandni's father is grateful, and thanks God.  He informs the man that tomorrow itself they will go to SethSaab, and that his wife does not know. His wife hears everything. She is upset that he has again kept his land on lease, and he is repeating the same mistake again. What was the need to do it again? Was it to keep his status compared to his daughter's in-laws place? They are big people, and it will be difficult to live in terms of their lifestyle. She asks him to listen to him for once and not to do this, else they will have nothing. Anandi's dad is not pleased he asks her to at least listen to him. She cries. A lady comes running to see the matter. Anandi's mother informs her that her husband has again put his land on hold, and she asks her husband as to the reason he is repeating the same mistake. The lady sternly reminds him that his wife was extremely worried and she had health problems last time. He lets the lady know that he is concerned about his wife as well, and that he is not very happy with his decision himself, but they have to keep their relations. This year was one of profit and tomorrow itself he will go and sort out the matter. He asks his wife not to worry, and that will earn so much that next season they won't have to struggle so much. He will sort out the matter and to trust him. Next scene Anandi is knocking on Jagya's insisting him to come out, since they have to break the vrat. Jagya opens the door and they make their way downstairs. Jagya tells Anandni that she will have to feed him first, while she refuses and informs him on this day he has to feed his wife first. He declares that he is her husband, so she has to give him food first, while she continues to refuse. Sugna watches this scene, and remembers about her & Pratap? (her first husband).

Sugna cries thinking back to her days. Shyam enters. He asks Sugna whether she is looking for the moon in the clouds and when she will get to eat. He used to wonder as a kid when he used to catch his mother fast as to the reason she would fast, but today he understands that there is a strange joy and peace in fasting for someone. That he is willing to fast regularly and happily, if he gets to eat food from her hands. She looks at him. He asks her what's wrong? And lets her know that he understands she must be tired of sitting at home all day long that he will play a song on the tape recorder for her. She smiles and tells him she is fine. He is glad that she is smiling and asks her to continue smiling always. She reminds him that the ritual must be starting and they must leave. She leaves. Shyam thinks back that he is aware as to the reason for her tears on this day, but he prays to God that he heals all her wounds and that he wishes not to see tears in her eyes, but rather smile light up her eyes forever. The ritual begins with all the ladies seated and praying.

Jagya and Shyam are seated watching the ladies with their rituals. Jagya gets up and informs Dadisa to ask everyone to hurry that he is extremely hungry. Dadisa asks him to have patience and to sit quietly until the 'pooja' is over. Jagya is annoyed that the moon has not come out yet either. The ladies begin to share stories and speak over the ritual. They take blessings from Dadisa.

Jagya notices the moon has come out. He runs to inform everyone. They show all couples. Sugna touches Shyam's feet. Dadisa is pleased that the pooja is over and asks everyone to come inside to eat. Jagya's mom and dad break their fast. Sugna and Shyam watch them. Dadisa asks Sugna to feed Shyam, since he has kept a 'vrat' as well for her. Sugna is confused. Everyone watches. Sugna's mom asks Sugna to feed Shyam. Sugna finally feeds Shyam, and Shyam helps to break her vrat. The episode ends.
