Madonna stole the show at the star-studded MTV awards in Lisbon last night (4th November 2005). The 47-year-old star proved she is still the undisputed Queen of Pop wowing the crowd with a dazzling performance of her new single, 'Hung Up'.

Elsewhere, British music acts swept the awards bash, with Robbie Williams, Coldplay and newcomer, James Blunt all scooping awards.

Live 8 organiser Bob Geldof drew huge cheers when Madonna presented him with the Free Your Mind award for his efforts to stamp out world poverty.
