Hello to all,
Well basically this particular post is meant to highlight a few pointers in order to sustain a happy,clean,healthy and a friendly atmosphere in ML.
Know you all are already aware about the IF COC and also general ML rules but if not- please do check this thread first.😊
*No Advertising* : Please do not advertise other sites means its all cool to share name of the sites or links which are informative but no promoting things.
*Consecutive Replies,Excessive Quoting and One Word Posts* : These all are considered as spamming,If you post your replies one after the other or even in parts.Please use edit button (down your post) if you want to make any change(s) instead of making a new one. Avoid excessive quotings since that increases the band width of a page and then it takes more time to load.If you have to address two or more mems at a time without quoting then use either of any strings say '@' along with the username to address that mem or those members(Eg:- @ xyz:- message
@abc:- message)
Do Not make just one one post with either of thank you, tfs ,hey or with just any of the emo marked this way ^^^😊 etc. Make your posts a bit informative to read.
*No adult content or using slang's* : Please be extra sure about the way you put your words.The content should be readable by an 13 year old as well. Again language should be clean and friendly.Do not use any kind of foul words in your posts.They all should be completely censored with **** or should not be included at all.
*No Bashing/abusing/fighting* : Everyone have different point of views, different opinions please respect their POVs and refrain yourself indulging in any argument or fight or using abusing language in any way! If you disagree with anyone,share your own pov in a polite way.😃 Lets all observe a friendly atmosphere always =))
*Avoid Chatting* : For chatting we do have pm facility available on IF also we have a particular chat club section, so please do make use of it. If you have to pass on any personal message do that via pms:) Once in a while to reply a person is ok but please read about the consecutive replies above and make sure you stick with the main topic or subject of that particular main post/thread. You can also add 'PS-' once in a while in the bottom your posts but avoid making it a practice.
*Share about your IF Status(newbie,senior member,Goldie,dazzler,rockerz)* : If you get promoted climbing up as the part of IF ladder group please do share that in *~Congratulations Post!!~* .
Avoid making posts with yipeee am a rocker/dazzler/goldie etc since we already have a permanent fixed thread for the same.😊
*About ML Help desk* : If you are stuck with something or if you want help regarding anything say about searching a particular matter,for clearing any confusion,or anything regarding IF or if you don't know which section to post something specific-you can ask that in ~=~ML Suggestion//Query//Help Desk~=~
and we'll try to get to you as soon as possible :)
We are also trying to stock our helpdesk with some important links under 'most recently asked questions' category so please do check them,if by any chance that's what you want to know or looking for.Try not to open any specific thread inorder to get an answer for the same.
*About GOTW's,DOTW's,Question of the week,MOTW threads* : These are extra activities of our section. We play games and discuss anything at random or try knowing answer for any particular question.
Member of the week(MOTW)- A member who is very active around in the section,makes meaningful posts,is very friendly... is picked for the hot seat (or rather our very own spicy grilling seat😆) inorder to honor that member for all the contributions and know that member in a better way😳
All the important links related to ML including recent activities could be found in *~ML Store~* .
*Report Topics* : If you find any topic/post offensive or anything violating IF Rules you can report them using button so that it could be looked after!This is more helpful in order to get the needful done more fast.
