DETAILED UPDATE
The Women looking at Sari's at the Maheshwari house. Rajshri sees Omi. Rajshri asks Omi to come when they go to give Shagun to Akshara's sasural. Omi agrees. Rajshri asks Omi to pick a sari to give to sunaina. Omi is hesitant. Anshu picks some one and asks Omi. Omi agrees. Rajshri asks Omi to give it to Sunaina. He leaves with Anshu. Daadi tells Rajshri that she is happy that Rajshri is trying.
At the SInghania house everyone is looking at jewelery. Akshara is texting Naitik. Everyone is praising a necklace on Gayatri. Akshara seems distant. Gayatri asks if Akshara likes anything. Akshara says she's looking.
Omi and Anshu go to Omi kaka's room. Sunaina is there. Anshu tells Sunaina that Omi bought a Diwali gift for her. Sunaina smiles. Anshu tells Sunaina that Omi thought it was the best one for Sunaina. Omi tells Sunaina that they should go to Akshara's sasural with everyone. Sunaina nods. Anshu is happy that they are going. He runs off. Omi clears his throat. Omi says that he doesn't know how to tell her. He takes out some papers. They are the divorce papers. Sunaina is shocked. Omi said that he has signed and for her to look it over. He leaves. Sunaina has tears in her eyes, she drops the sari.
Nandini shows Akshara the necklace she picked out. Akshara smiles. Akshara is lost, she doesn't know if she should phone home or not and what is probably happening there.
Sunaina is crying. Daadi is patting her, tears in her eyes. Varsha is also crying. Rajshri looks at the divorce papers and has tears in her eyes. The cellphone rings. Rajshri is worried, its Akshara. Rajshri goes aside and picks it up. They talk. Rajshri is trying really hard not to start crying. Akshara asks about everyone.
BREAK
Akshara asks how everyone is. Rajshri says that everyone is fine. Rajshri is trying really hard not to cry and answers her questions.Rajshri presses the phone away and cries when Akshara asks about Omi,Sunaina and Anshu. She puts it back to her ear and says that they are fine. Akshara is excidely talking. Rajshri says she has to go and puts down the phone. Akshara is confused. Rajshri goes to Sunaina. They all cry.
At Akshara's house. Everyone is decorating the house. Akshara is doing the rangoli. Maharaj ji and Gulabo start arguing. Bhabhi ma comes and tells Maharaj ji to bring everything for the pooja. He and Gulabo go. Gayatri comes. Bhabhi gives her instructions. Dadaji and Naitik's dad come. They look upset. Naitik comes. He walks past them and puts his bag down. Akshara gives Dadaji and Naitik's dad water and then to Naitik. Akshara moves her head asking. Naitik shakes his head. Bhabhi ma tells Dadaji and Naitik's dad to get ready for the pooja. They leave silently.
They are doing the aarti at the maheshwari house. Everyone is upset. Daadi tells them to go meet Akshara, she is probably waiting. They all get ready adn are by the door. Daadi tells Anshu not to tell anybody anything about thier home.
BREAK
Daadi tells Anshu not to tell anybody anything about thier home. Anshu asks why. Shaurya says that its bad manners. Anshu nods and goes outside. Everyone start going. Rajshri stops and sits down. Vish asks what happened. Rajshri says that she won't be able to do it. Everyone looks sad. Rajshri says she won't go. Vish says that if she doesn't go, what will they tell Akshara? Rajshri says that she won't be able to hide it, she wasn't able to talk to her on the phone, how can she face to face. Her whole sasural will be there too. How will we show that everything is fine? Omi kaka leaves. vish says that this is really hard, but we will have to go. Everyone look at each other. Varsha goes to Rajshri. Daadi comes too. They make Rajshri understand.
Yeh rishta sad tune plays in the background as they leave for Akshara's house. ends on daadi's sad voice.
PRECAP
Akshara, Rajshri and Varsha are there. Akshara tells Rajshri that she was desperate to talk to them, she now sees why daughters become strangers.
