UPDATE
The episode starts with the pooja for tulsi vivah. Akshara and Naitik are called to do the the rounds for the tulsi vivah. Gayatri has a face on while Naitik's dad is smiling. Naitik and Akshara pray. Bhabhi ma asks for her daughters marriage. Mohit and Rashmi are looking at each other and smiling. The pooja is over.
Rajshri is talking about how Naitik and Akshara left in a hurry and didn't even have some kheer. Daadi says that she should understand, Naitik and Akshara had to leave, her in-laws were waiting for them. Choti ma says that Naitik looked kind of scared when his mother called. Rajshri says that she doesn't understand what they excally did wrong? They were only a little late. Daadi tells Rajshri that she should understand. Naitik didn't tell his mom before coming here, thats why she's angry and he called Akshara over too. They showed a little irresponsibility. Daadi tells Rajshri to think of it in Gayatri's point of view. Rajshri doesn't look too happy about it. She gets up a leaves. Daadi frowns.
Gayatri is complaining to bhabhi ma about Akshara. She says that her son is now her bahu's and not hers anymore. Bhabhi ma says that she is upset that they took Nandini's birthday as an excuse. Akshara comes. Gayatri is giving her an angry look. Akshara says she will help. Akshara starts cutting vegetables. Gayatri starts looking for pots but can't find them. Maharaj ji says that Akshara put them somewhere else. Bhabhi ma asks Akshara why. Akshara says that in her house her mom says that they shouldn't put the pots by the gas as it ruins them. Gayatri angrily tells Akshara that they know what to do and what not to do, there is no need to put things in other places. She leaves angry. Maharaj ji says that she told Akshara. Bhabhi ma tells Akshara to ask before she does anything. Akshara says okay, she will ask next time. Bhabhi ma tells Akshara to take some vegetables outside and then tells her not to feel bad about anything Gayatri says.
The women are serving food. Naitik starts telling Naitik about the business trip but Dadaji says not to talk about business while eating. The mood tenses. Gayatri goes to give Mohit food but Mohit says that he's already eaten at Akshara's house. He makes a joke. But Gayatri looks mighty angry. Gayatri angrily says that if they had already eaten, they should have said something. Naitik starts to respond but Dadaji cuts in. He says he's been seeing for a while now, he's starting to break all the rules of the house. Dadaji is angry. Gayatri angrily says "what are you two doing here? go rest, you've already eaten." Naitik says "Im very hungry, I haven't eaten since morning." Everyone is shocked. Naitik says "give a little?" Gayatri's face softens and she asks "you did't eat?" Naitik says "How could I when I knew you were waiting for me, and Akshara will eat only after the pooja, she has a vraat" Bhabhi ma asks why Mohit was saying that then? Mohit says that he was talking about himself, not them. Dadaji frowns. Naitik tells Dadaji that he may have made mistakes that have hurt him but he wants to always respect his wishes. Naitik says that its because of them that he is recognized, so why would he go against them? Naitik's dad is smiling. Naitik says not to think that he doesn't care. Naitik apologizes to Gayatri, he says that he forgot to call when he was surprising Akshara. He puts his hands on his ears and says "Im sorry" Dadaji smiles. Gayatri goes to Naitik and says "what happened, happened and to let it go" She tells him to eat. She smiles. The mood has lightened.

Everyone is eating. Gayatri tells Mohit to eat a little. Mohit says no its okay. Akshara is giving Naitik food. She looks at Nandnini and then motions something to Naitik. Naitik motions something to Mohit. Mohit looks at Rajshri. They all look at each other. Mohit says that its late, he will go. Mohit gets up and waves at Rashmi, then goes to Bhabhi ma and motions something. Bhabhi ma makes an excuse and gets Nandini to come with her. Naitik waves a thumbs up at bhabhi ma.
Everyone is eating dinner at the Maheshwari house. They are talking about the surprise. Vish says that he's sure Naitik took care of it. Daadi says that its good that they didn't make Naitik and Akshara eat or there would have been problems on this day. Rajshri is thinking about this. Vish asks Rajshri for daal. Rajshri goes to get it but it almost drops. Varsha says "be careful ma, it will spill" Rajshri says "Will everyone in the house tell me what I should do or not do?" Varsha says she didn't mean that and apologizes. The mood tenses.
Outside the Singhania house Naitik, Akshara, Rahsmi and Mohit are decorating. Naitik goes over to Akshara, who is working and starts flirting. Akshara starts blushing. Mohit sees this and starts teasing. Naitik tells Mohit to do his work. Mohit starts doing something else. Rashmi is blowing balloons. Naitik starts flirting with Akshara and he tells her "I love you" naitik brings Akshara close, a balloon pops and they break appart. Bhabhi ma and Gayatri come. Bhabhi ma and Gayatri look really happy. Akshara shows the cake. Everyone is happy. Naitik says that its almost 12, and asks who will call Nandini out? Mohit points at bhabhi ma. Bhabhi ma says "Me?" They tell bhabhi ma to go get Nandini and not to let her find out that they did all this. Bhabhi ma tells Gayatri to but Gayatri tells only Bhabhi ma to go. Nandini gives bhabhi ma an excuse so Nandini wont be suspitious.

Akshara gives bhabhi ma a candle. Bhabhi ma starts to go, Mohit starts singing a scary song and bhabhi ma comes back. Gayatri says she will go with bhabhi ma but the rest stop her. They tell bhabhi ma to go only. They wish bhabhi ma all the best. Bhabhi ma starts to go.
Bhabhi ma goes into Nandini's room. Nandini is sleeping. Mohit goes and turns off the lights of the house. Bhabhi ma goes over to Nandini. She says "Nandini! Get up, the lights turned off!" Nandini gets up and asks what happened. Bhabhi ma says loudly that they should go outside and sit in the cold air. Bhabhi ma starts making excuses. Bhabhi ma gets Nandini outside. They turn on the lights and yell surprise .. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Nandni looks very happy. Nandini takes a step and starts to fall but Mohit catches her. They look at each other.
