In Week 47, TAM data suggests that most Hindi general entertainment
channels (GECs) have maintained their positions. Colors has stuck to the
No. 1 position with a lion's share of 24 per cent. The channel has
clocked 330 GRPs.
Zee has replaced STAR Plus and grabbed the No.
2 rank in Week 47, with 265 GRPs. Its relative share has increased from
17.7 per cent in Week 46 to 19.3 per cent in the latest week. Its new
addition, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, has got an opening TVR of 4.1.
STAR Plus follows with 255 GRPs and is at the third place. The channel's
share stands at 18.5 per cent, same as Week 46.
Sony's share,
too, has remained unchanged at 14 per cent. The No. 4 GEC has garnered
190 GRPs in the latest week. CID, which has got a high TVR of 3.5, still
fetches the highest numbers for the channel. The new season of Aahat
has got a highest TVR of 2.4. Other latest shows such as Sukh By Chance
and Dance Premier League have recorded highest TVRs of 1 and 1.7
respectively.
NDTV Imagine is at No. 5 with a share of 8.4 per
cent, followed by SAB at the sixth position, which has claimed 5.7 per
cent share. STAR One has garnered a share of 3 per cent, followed by
Sahara One and DD1, which have managed to garner 2 per cent share each.
STAR Utsav and 9X's relative channel shares stand at 1 per cent each.
Uttaran
tops the list of the most watched programmes, with the highest TVR of
7.3, followed by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which has recorded a TVR of
6.1. Na Aana Is Des Laado, with 5.9 TVR, moves back one step.
Interestingly, Chhoti Bahu on Zee and Balika Vadhu on Colors have both
garnered TVRs of 5.7.
The other programmes that have made it to
the list are Pavitra Rishta, Bidayi, Bairi Piya, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya
Hi Kijo and Jhansi Ki Rani.
