Friday's Updates
Scene 1:
Subbu is still not convinced that Mani should stay at her Collector Mama's house; Subbu says she doesn't want any more complications in Ganga's already super-draggy wedding! <<I completely agree with her on this point! We already wasted like 50 episodes on Ganga's wedding. I wonder what happened to her dream of actually becoming a collector and not just marrying one! Has she stopped her classes or something?>>
Finally, Ganga convinces Subbu that Mani is harmless and has a good heart just like JC.
Scene 2:
Mani wakes up at night after a nightmare. Sk's mom asks her what's wrong and she says that an elephant came in her dream, lifted her up and threw her down onto the ground! <<Ouch!>> Sk's mom asks her if she has any like venduthal for Pillayar. Mani remembers her prayers about getting married to Collecotr. She tells Sk's mom everything and then both of them decide that Mani can leave the next day to viist the Pillayar.
Scene 3:
Mani talks to Sk and tells him that she is leaving to opray for his successful wedding with Ganga. Sk confesses to her that he feels proud of her charcter and that he really feels guilty that unknowingly he has wronged her. He tells her to stay with his family after the wedding and he tells her that they will get her married to somebody good. Mani says ok and leaves.
Scene 4:
Mani talks to the Pillayar and apologizes for scolding him. She tells him that she was being too greedy and tells him that she wants to take back her wish of getting married to the Collector. She prays that Ganga-Collector wedidng takes place successfully and tells the Pillayar to frighten away anyone who opposes that! <<😆Ila and co.... Beware! 😉>> Mani meets her friends on the way back and tells them to come for the wedding. The friends think she is such a paavam, simple person!
Scene 5:
It's nighttime again! DSP goes to visit an old man who was once a champion underwater swimmer and diver. After the hello, how are you's, DSP asks the old man if he would be willing to teach the police acadmy people some diving and long-distance underwater swimming techniques like how to hold breath underwater and so on. Old man says he's too old but says that there are these two guys he knows who are very very good swimmers who can hold their breaths super long underwater!
Lo and behold! The rowdy guys who tried to drown SK appear. The old man tells DSP that these are the 2 guys he was talking about. The 2 rowdies run away upon seeing the DSP. DSP chases them. They run. DSP runs faster. They pant and pant and run some. DSP follows them. <<2 whole minutes wasted on this chase...>> Finally, DSP catches hold of them.
After a round of adi-thadi-merattals, the 2 rowdies confess everything! DSP finds out that Kulasekaran was behind everything! <<YAY!!!👏Thank God someone knows the truth! Good job, DSP Dude!>>
Scene 6:
Another useless scene... 🤔 A late night evil-doers kootani in the balcony with Kula and Ila's husband. Ila enters with Rasamma. She introduces Rasamma to her dad and to her husband. After a round of everyone saying they want to stop Ganga's wedding, <<Argh! 😵 How many times will they repeat the same "Ganga kalynatha nirutthu!" plege? First think up a plan, and then do the talking. >>
Kula tells Rasamma that he'll inform her of what needs to be done. Ila and Rasamma leave; Kula tells Ila's husband that they will use Rasamma as a pawn in their big plans. <<Yeah right, Kula, what big plans? all of your big plans are just a big fat failure so far! Better think up something fast otherwise even your "Ganga kalynatha nirutthu!" pledge will become a failure!>> Edited by lifeissymbol123 - 14 years ago
