Kalai's house - the guy in specs from Bhupathi's house comes - he is welcomed by all. Kanmani offers him tea, Paati asks him to stay for lunch, he says he has to go for kadan vasool, says he has come to give an important message. Danda wants Bhupathi and Kanmani to go over to his house, Kanmani looks at her sisters, Megala looks at Paati (in case Paati is hiding him?), then Kanmani says that B is not there, he left to do vasool somewhere, specs says that there is no place which needs B for vasool, everyone is confused. Kanmani gets ready and leaves with specs guy.
Anbu's house - Subha is asking about Megala and why Anbu asked her to come. He says he wanted to know how the marriage arrangements are coming along. She says everything is fine, and all he has to do is tie the thali. He tells her to take good care of Athai and Mama, she says she will and takes leave of him. Samy is shaking in his pants. Anbu asks him what the matter is, he says he is confused about the coffee matter and the powder he stirred. Anbu says that was glucose, Samy asks Why, and he locks the front door and then asks Samy for his mobile. He looks at the message sent to Subha, Don't drink, and asks him why he sent the message. He grabs Samy's neck and threatens to kill him, Samy gets scared and says this is the first time he did such a thing, and because he didn't want Anbu to do anything to her. Anbu hits Samy repeatedly and chokes him and gets him to admit that it was all done by him for Viswa. Samy admits that he did it to unite Megala and Viswa because their love is true love. He also admits that Subha and her parents are all actors. Anbu is foaming at the mouth, and kicks Samy out of the house. (Oh Priya, you are so lucky, you missed this maniac! Roja, when are you coming back? )
Bhupathi lying in the hospital bed. The nurse comes in, gives him his medicines, says his condition is better, he wants to know if he can go home, she says she has no instructions about discharge, he will have to wait till the doctor comes in the evening. He takes the medicines and lies down. Viji's father comes to the hospital to see someone, passes by the ICU, sees Bhupathi lying in the room (what excellent eyesight! He has spotted B thru the small clear hole, out of the corner of his eye and correctly identified him - I cannot do that, even with my glasses!). The nurse comes out, asks him who he wants to see, he wants to know what is wrong with the patient in that room, the nurse willingly tells him all the info he wants - very sick man, dying, heart disease - do you want to see him? He says No, and goes his way. He thinks to himself, Serves him right, I am going to go home and call Viji and tell her all this, she will be so happy!
