Hey guys i really want to wax my hair but  i need some good tried and tested recipies to make hot/cold wax. The wax stripes u get in shops are too expensive and are too small. I also wanna know what is better hot wax or cold wax???

I have tried hot wax at home and it's really easy, time saving and affective. Haven't tried cold wax though.
To prepare hot wax take a bowl of water (not much), add honey according to the amount of water u have taken and then add sugar accordingly. Boil the mixture and keep stirring it. You'll see gradually after 10-15 minutes, a sticky mixture is formed. Remove it and use it as hot wax. It works well. But be careful not to burn yourself. There's no need to apply while extremely hot. Hope this helps! 😊

Just follow that ^^
It'll work =]

Hot wax works really well...and for homemade wax strips, you can rip up any old *cotton* t-shirt and use it =]

OR if you want you can buy wax strips =]

I dont think wax kits are too expensive.
I just bought a sally hansen one for 3 bucks the other day...It depends on the store you go to.

well i also make hot wax at home!
hwoever i prefer wax from theshops it works much better!
and is much stronger
bt because it is expensive i have to make it my self :(
so i use
sugar
and then a 1/4 lemon juice in it
i tend to measure it very accuratly and put it in

put in pan boil!
and u know when it boils keep stirring and KEEP CHECKING ITS THE KEY
GET THE WAX VERY LITTLE OF IT FRM UR SPOON AND PUT ON UR WORKTOP THE KITCHEN ONE.. AND THEN test with ur finger dab ur finger on it and press like ur thumb and first finger together if it feels stiky then turn fire off and then put in a container and use.

if u cook it too much it will turn dark brown and wax doesnt work well
the colour shd be light yellow! or meidum yellow
no wher enear brown if it is u know its gone wrong
hope that helps :)
