See Bad Romance is a classic song that you cannot just sit down and explain to people. There are a lot of metaphors and symbolism within the lyrics and the video. There are jabs at conventionalism, commercialism etc. It just takes a keen eye to go find it and understand it. Very few do. Not even most of Gaga's fans. Of course there is also the conspiracy theory that Gaga is an Illuminati spokesperson and her videos and lyrics are full of Illuminati crypts and symbols. I don't buy that extreme. But if she was an Illuminati spokesperson, she just got way cooler.
