Starts with Jagya chasing Anandi around the garden and finally catching her. Some major staring going on. It begins to rain. Anandi and Jagya play in the rain, with more running around. Anandi runs away from Jagya and Jagya says if she goes he will never come back. Anandi laughs and runs away. She turns around to see that Jagya is nowhere to be seen. She calls out to Jagya.Just then a chunri falls on her. She tries to free herself, while Jagya hugs her from behind and says that he has won.
Jagya makes Anandi sit on the swing and finally puts the payal on her foot. Anandi apologises for troubling him since Bhago has told her not to trouble Jagya. Jagya laughs and asks Anandi if she told her mother that her bheed was a naktha bandar. Both laugh. Jagya sits on the swing with Anandi and they stare at each other for a while.
JaAn return to Jagya's room where Anandi goes in and changes her clothes. She asks Jagya to change as well and to dry his hair. Jagya keeps staring at Anandi and takes her hand with the towel and wipes his face and hair slowly. He keeps staring at Anandi for a bit and throws the towel, which knocks off something. Anandi looks away and asks Jagya to change, fearing someone will come. Jagya changes. Anandi stands in front of the mirror trying to tie her choli. Jagya comes there and strokes her back. Anandi asks Jagya what he is doing and he says he is helping her. Some staring and hugging going on. As JaAn hug, Maasa opens the door, calling out to Jagya. Seeing JaAn, she closes the door and is leaves madly.
Gehna and Sumitra in the kitchen talking. Maasa comes there angrily. Maasa yells at Sumitra for hurrying up and getting Anandi home, JaAn are not supposed to stay together until sutak is complete. Sumitra says she forgot. Maasa yells at Sumitra and tells her to talk to JaAn. Sumitra hesitates, and Maasa yells some more. Sumitra then goes upstairs.
Jagya makes Anandi sit on the bed and tells her she looks beautiful as a new bride. Sumitra knocks on the door. Anandi opens the door and Sumitra takes her with her. She tells Anandi that she needs to talk to her. She seems embarrassed and tells Anandi that her bidaai was done soon due to sutak and until that is over, Anandi and Jagya cannot "stay" together. She asks Anandi to stay in her old room until sutak is over. Sumitra asks Anandi if she understood what she meant, Anandi says she does and will follow Sumitra's instructions. Sumitra tries to go to talk to Jagya, but Anandi says she will convince Jagya and not to worry.
