JaAn go to check in to a hotel. The receptionist talks in English. The two of them look out of place. Jagya manages to talk in English and checks in. Anandi looks around and sees that she is very conservatively dressed while all other girls wear modern clothes. Jagya scolds her for wearing a ghagra despite him telling her not to. Anandi refuses to wear modern clothes. Anandi sees a girl wearing salwar and agrees to wear salwars as they are decent.
Once in the room, Jagya calls Bhairav to tell about flight cancellation. Bhairav tells him to stay back in Mumbai, but Jagya refuses. Bhairav tells him to ask Anandi too and then decide. Anandi is very excited about the hotel room. Jagya says they should go back the next day as he had bad memories about Mumbai.
Anandi tells Jagya that they should stay and create nicer memories so that he will stop hating Mumbai, Jagya walks away.
Sumitra comes to Gehna and sees her cheek is swollen. Gehna tries to make excuses, but Sumitra says she knows Basanth hit her. She compels Gehna to reveal what happened. Gehna tells her that Basanth is not able to maintain a physical relationship. Gehna doesn't care for this, but it seems to be torturing Basanth who is showing his frustration on Gehna. Gehna says that this problem has been going on for 2 yrs. She cries at her helplessness.Sumitra is surprised why Gehna didn't tell her earlier. Gehna says it is too personal a problem. Gehna says she has tried to overlook the past and make it work, but Basanth is too ashamed of his problem. Sumtira says Basanth is hurt because of his ego, so Gehna has to be mindful of this. Sumitra suggests that the two of them should go out someplace to resolve issues.
