There's definitely major issues that need attention, but here in US too there are such crazy unresolved issues that have been going on forever. Some issues are so biased and ridiculous, that you wonder if people are retarded to believe what they hear!
I think in India if we can minimalize corruption, things would get a lot simpler for a lot of things. The problem is that corruption has seeped into the lowest rungs of society, which is why its hard to solve any problem. I also don't understand the attitude of some people, like if you bribe some officials in Govt. offices to get your LEGAL work done, they still hold out on you for no reason like they are the kings/queens. Its pathetic. First of all they should be ashamed to take bribe for work that is their duty, on top of it, they still won't do it on time.
Corruption exists in US too, but if I get pulled over for speeding 99.99 percent of the time, I won't be let off if I offer the officer money. Corruption is at higher levels that it does not impact day-to-day activities.
