Malar and her would be having a talk about Gopi.. He questions her about Gopi and their relationship. Malar is shocked to hear such questions and asks him why he was having such doubts now. He clearly states that there was a letter which came to him and it was written by Gopi.
Malar is not able to believe what she just heard. He then uses this chance to show how broad minded sweet person he was and how such a creep Gopi was.. Malar had no other option other than hear all wht he told and nod to everything.
He makes things clear by asking Malar if ever she had fallen for Gopi and this time Malar also denies telling they were just friends.. He sees Malar's sister and brother standing there. He tells Malar that this matter should not reach any of the elders from both the families and leaves. Idhu thaan saaku nu Malar gets good lecture from both her bro and sister.
Malar also tell Rohini that she was not able to believe that Gopi will turn so cheap trying to write letters and stop the engagement ... Rohini idhu thaan chance nu tries to add fuel to the oil..
Maha is getting ready and Ks aunty is taking care of Maha's dressing and stuffs (Onnumille, she is sitting on the chair already dressed and KS aunty is correcting her chain and other ornaments.. Selva also expresses his feelings about Mahes not being with him and his love for her etc.. Pushpa is already doing jing jag with that family and Maha also joins telling that it was her family and she will not let her SIL suffer like this.She assures Selva that she would help him have his Mahes back..

Sokku sheds tears and asks on wht he should worry now..His lost son, or hsi sister who will break the bro-sis bound if Gopi dint show up.. Devanai and all come to knw about Gopi missing and everyone starts crying..
She goes inside and makes a scene (I agree to KS aunty's one comment.
