October 18 Written Update [First Episode]

Taniya and Tej are at Taniya's parents house (in wedding clothes) taking their blessings. Tej tells them that he, after 2 years, has finally told his family about his and Taniya's affir, Taniya's parents are happy, but Taniya is worried that she won't be accepted there. Tej says that only 2 people are not happy about this, his wife and child. A woman holding a baby enters the room. [Btw, everyone calle Taniya 'Toasty'. It's a really weird nickname 😕]

Taniya's mom was dreaming, she prays that this dream never come true.

-Dining Room-

Taniya's mom [Sudha] is telling Taniya's dad [Lalit] to tell Taniya to talk to Tej, or else they will talk to Tej. She is ranting that they like Tej, but he needs to speak to his family about her too. She is worried because they have been dating for 2 years, and it's been 1 year since Taniya's college has ended and all her friends are now married too. Lalit agrees to invite Tej over for dinner

Taniya's friends come to get her for their friend Nitika's engagement. Sudha tries to talk to Taniya's friend Shivangi about talking to Tej so he can convince his family.

Taniya comes there and her dad tells her that he is worried and asks her to invite Tej over in the evening. Taniya agrees.

-Car-

Shivangi tries to ask Taniya why Tej doesn't talk to his family, but Taniya's other friend Sunaina says that dating is more fun that marriage, so they should enjoy these days.

Shivangi says that she will speak to Tej at the engagement.

-Engagement-

Some cute moments where Nitika's fianc Rajan brings a pink sari for her to wear, sent by his mom, but the friends tell Nitika to wear what she wants, it's her engagement.

Tej is lost and he calls Taniya and they get into a squabble. She warns him that he better be here in 5 minutes.

Taniya explains to Rajan's mom that she is names toasty because when her mother was pregnant, all she craved was toast.

Rajan's mother asks Nitika why she rejected the pink sari. Taniya explains that Nitika got it specially made by a designer. Rajan's mother says that anyone in their family who wears a maroon sari has an unsuccessful marriage, and Nitika gets scared, but takes a stand that she wont bow down to her mother in law.

Tej enters and Taniya is pissed at what he's wearing. [This was funny. She tells him that she looks like a cheap film actor, he's wearing a hot pink shirt and white pants😆] She says that he has terrible dressing sense and should always call her before he decides to wear something. She sees that his shirt's button is missing and pulls out a sewing kit from her purse and starts sewing it on. Shivangi comes there and starts to tease them. [Very cute scene when Toasty is sewing the button on]

The ceremony starts and the girls see that Nitika has succumbed to her MIL and worn the pink sari. Taniya asks her why, warning her that now her MIL will always rule over her. Nitika says that she didn't want to lose Rajan over something stupid like a sari.

Taniya says that today she has to attend parent-teacher meetings, so Tej offers to drop her to school.

-School-

Taniya tells Tej that her dad wants to talk to him. Tej gets nervous and says that they will first go to dinner, then he'll come over to her house. Taniya agrees and walks away. Tej is worried.

~Break~

Tej and Taniya are at dinner and Taniya asks him why he has never told his family about her. Tej says that he's been waiting fir the right moment.

Taniya says that it's been 2 years, she wants to be close to his family. Tej says that he loves her too much to lose her and he just needs the right moment to tell him, since it's a delicate issue with them.

Shivangi calls Taniya and tells her about the dream her mom had about Tej being married. [Again we see the lady with her child, but this time it was Taniya day-dreaming]

-Taniya's House-

Lalit and Sudha are happy to see Tej with Taniya.

Tej tries to explain to Lalit as well that he's trying to find the right moment to tell his family, he just needs time.

Lalit says no, he wants Tej to speak to his family ASAP because he wants to get Tej and Taniya married by the end of the year. Tej is worried.
