Ganga Ki Dheej to take the 10 PM slot from November 15th..
Sahara One's much-awaited show Ganga Ki Dheej gets its launch date and time slot..
Sahara One's new show Ganga Ki Dheej to be produced by Harry Baweja and Shabbir Ahluwalia's Flying Turtles has finally got its launch date and time!!
The show will launch on November 15th at the 10 PM slot. As reported earlier by TellyBuzz, Kabir Bedi, Ashwini Kalsekar, Leena Jhumani, Mohit Raina, Sanjay Nath, Ved Thapar play important roles in the show. Saurabh Pandey and a new face Poonam will play the leads.
The show which was to start sometime in September was delayed due to certain reasons.
Our source tells us, "The new promos of the show are very interesting and holds lot of promise. The show has been given a prime time slot of 10 PM, and this means that Swastik Pictures' Mata Ki Chowki which presently airs at the 10 PM slot will undergo a change".
We hear that there is a possibility of Mata Ki Chowki getting shifted to the 10.30PM slot. This means that Jay Productions' Shorr Goongi Kankoo Ki Bolti Kahaani which presently airs at 10.30 PM will further be shifted to the 11PM slot.
We tried calling Mushtaq Shiekh, Creative Director, Sahara One, but he remained unavailable.
Our efforts to get in touch with Jay Mehta, Producer of Shorr and Sidharth Tewary, Producer of Mata Ki Chowki were in vain.
Ganga Ki Dheej is set in the backdrop of Banaras, wherein as a ritual every girl who comes of age has to go thro' a purity test. As reported earlier, Sonam Mann and Kritika Kamra who were earlier seen in Imagine's Kitani Mohabbat Hai will play important cameo roles.
