Yeah they're a bit in their own ways but they do eat corpses ..they do not kill anyone but they do take what is on burial grounds. I actually watched a vid on YT about it and they showed the entire process/lives of these ppl, they showed taking a corpse and eating (not kidding, i'll pm u the link if u want) but it was just so intriguing b/c no one really wants to do a serious unbiased report on these people.

you want me to see them eat dead people! well, how bad is it?π If it's not graphic or repulsive I might watch, so send them to me anyways.
I am a fair person and my motto is live and let live so I have no big problem with them but just the black magic I am not so sure about. Alot of articles and people shun them for what they are and what they do but in another way they are considered very holy.
Yea, I was kinda relived to know that they don't actually go around killing people, but actually eat dead people. I don't really know if it's such a bad thing, I mean honestly I personally think that it's better than killing animals for their meat (no offense to anyoneπ³). Though I don't necessarily agree with their perspective.πLIke they say if you get blessed by these people you're life will be extremely happy and if you get cursed these baba's will and can make your life hell. I don't know how much of this is true but I do know on the ghat's of banaras there are aghoris and they usually go there for worship alot.
baba as in these aghori babas?? Well, I personally believe that your destiny is in your hands or at least your actions which ultimately make your life. What you get in life is a result of your actions/karma.But for the main part they try to stay out of hte mainstream city area. (i mean when is the last time you saw a naked guy covered in ashes driving a bmw down bombay streets...)I know they try to live in the harshest areas where they can be further tested for their inner faith.I am not sure about the entire relation to Shivaji or in what way they take/praise him. All I know that I was told by someone that they worship the 'destroyer' avtaar of shivji.-----oh and on a side note, did you guys know kumbh mela is actually rooted from the aghori babas?? (<<I believe this is true...atleast wikipedia says so π€ rofl)
wikipedia zindabaad!π but now why would these wikipedia people say so, I am all the more confused now. Well, I have no idea if kumbh mela actually originated from aghoris, but if wikipedia says so then... must be trueπ€

On the other hand, there are groups that take the something from the scriptures and cling to it through peculiar practices that are strange, but in a nicer sweeter way... there's this one group I've heard of led by a female guru (from Gujarat I think?? could be wrong) that never wears shoes so that they kill that many less ants every time they walk (cuz you know, feet have arches and then the arched part doesn't touch the floor and... why am I explaining this π).
^ This is the cutest thing I've heard! π That's really sweet and faithful of them, honestly. So the black magic part scares me too. Are these the kind of people who gain power for praying to God for evil reasons? Like they gain evil power through black magic? Or do they gain good power only?Another sect I want to talk about is the Swami Narayan sect. My friend is one, and she believes only in Swami Narayan and not the rest of the Gods. That's still Hindu right? Was just curious
