Ba comes into IMV's room and complains to him that she never gets to see her son.She tells him that he has now has everything and he must stop running.IMV tells her that running gives him energy and if he stops,he'll fall ill.Ba tells him that it is not necessary that he must be physically tiered.She tells him that a person can become mentally tiered due to which he becomes irritated for small things and starts making enemies.IMV rubbishes this and talks of other things.
Devki comes into IMV's office and request his secretary for an appointment.She refuses to give her one and asks her to go out of the office.She says that if IVM gets to know that she has come to his office,he'll throw her out personally.Sid sees Devki talking to the secretary through the web cam and instructs the secretary to send her in.
Initially Sid is very upset that Devki had said such things about his father.When he gets to know that most of what had been published were untrue and that she has come to apologize, he softens. He tells her that in the corporate world there is no place for feelings and what is important is what is written in black and white. He tells her to go out of the office and never come back. He tells her that she should thank her stars if she never gets to meet IMV again. On her way out, she requests Sid to tell IMV that she apologized for whatever had been published and that she respects him a lot.
Motilal and Ratanba share a light moment.Motilal brings in some tamarind for his wife which he had climbed the tree and plucked himself.Charu come in with Ba's tablets and she is upset that she is eating tamarinds which are not good for her joints. She then learns that Motilal had brought them himself.Charu becomes saddened at the thought that her husband does nothing for her and she tearfully walks out of the room.
A minister visits IMV and the secretary brings him in. The minister and IMV praise the secretary for her efficiency. She replies that IMV has done a lot for her. She says that despite being a handicap, he has given her a job and treated her so well.
The minister and IMV talk about Mumbai Floats,Vaibhav's dream project. The minister says that he has changed the laws only for IMV.The minister says that he is doing all this only for his future son-in-law,Vaibhav.He asks IMV whether he has spoken to Vaibhav about the engagement between him and the minister's daughter and if he has any other girl in his mind.IMV replies that that is not possible as he has not brought up his son that way. The minister then tells IMV that the only problem with the site is that there is a slum area nearby.IMV tells him that Vaibhav has gone to deal with them.
Vaibhav says that he is willing to give each of the slum resident one lakh rupees and they should clear the site.His PA informs him that they are not willing to make a deal.A film actress,Sabeena meets him at the site and tells him that the slum dwellers wont vacate and she is there to speak on their behalf.Vaibhav says that they have occupied the land illegally and since they have no documents he cannot permit them to stay there.Sabeena reminds him that the slum dwellers were given the land by a minister because the area they were occupying previously was needed by the government to make roads.She says that the people don't have documents because the minister died before he could hand over the documents to them. She reminds Vaibhav that a floating hotel cannot be made as it is a threat to the country's security.She says that once all the fraud they have committed to acquire the sanction from the government comes out, they'll be in soup. She says this goes away to play with the slum children.
Its night and IMV&sons are discussing the project over a drink.IMV's younger brother comes with a box of sweets and asks them about their health and stuff.IMV gets irritated and tells him that they were discussing some business and that he shouldn't interrupt them. His brother leaves the sweet box on the table and tells them that he has bought Vaibahv's favorite sweet and that he must eat it.Sid feels sorry for his Chacha and tells him that he would come to meet him later in the night and look at the yatra photos.IMV get annoyed and says that had his brother joined him in his business, he wouldn't have wasted his time on unwanted things.Sid is hurt and says that some people live to earn while others earn to live.He tells IMV that everyone has a right to choose what he wants to do in life.IMV does not argue about this any further and turns his attention on Vaibhav.He says that a third rate actress must not come in the way of their dream project.
Viabhav says that he'll manage Sabeena and damage Devki.
