Jagya wakes up in the morning and sees Anandi's earring stuck to his shirt. He smiles seeing this. Just then Gauri calls him and tells him she has been calling and Jagya didn't pick up. Jagya says he slept late. Gauri teases him that he is not married that he should be thinking of talking to his wife all night and sleep late. Jagya is stunned and makes up some excuse. Sumitra calls Jagya for breakfast and Gauri hangs up.
Anandi readies Jagya's breakfast hurriedly. Gehna asks her why she is hurrying and Anandi says she was going to take Jagya with her to school as her girls are all eagerly waiting to see Jagya. She goes up to give Jagya his favorite breakfast (Badam halva, chila, pakoda, jalebis...yummm). Jagya sees everything and disgustingly says he can't eat such heavy breakfast and fall sick. He yells and Anandi for getting him such unheathy food. Anandi is sad and offers to make whatever Jagya wants or go to the market and buy what he wants for him.Jagya rudely says there is no need and also refuses to go to school with Anandi. Anandi is upset and leaves sadly.
Anandi goes down and everyone is puzzled why Jagya didn't eat breakfast. Anandi makes up some excuse and starts to leave. Maasa taunts her to stay back for Jagya, but Anandi says she has to go since the girls will be waiting but promises to be back soon.
Jagya is bored in his room and calls Gauri. Both discuss how they are used to Mumbai's fast life and can't get used to their small town life anymore. Gauri feels like visiting Jagya at his home in Jaipur, but Jagya lies and makes up some excuse. The two of them decide to go back to Mumbai early as they are bored. Jagya is chatting with Gauri and keeps laughing. Anandi comes there just then and Jagya abruptly cuts the call. Anandi says she forgot to take her bag. She asks Jagya abt the phone call and he says he was talking to a friend. Anandi asks Jagya if his friend is a girl or boy. Jagya is zapped. Anandi laughs that it doesn't matter even if its a girl and she trusts Jagya and knows he will never forget his Anandi. Jagya looks a little guilty. Anandi leaves.
Anandi goes to school where she sees that her girls are all waiting to see Jagya with cards and flowers for him. Anandi is sad. She tells Phooli that Jagya is unwell and couldn't come. She asks Phooli to manage and leaves.
At home Maasa calls Jagya and tells him she will send him more money since Mumbai is expensive. She tells him to buy new clothes at the market, but Jagya refuses saying they are all old-fashioned. Maasa tries to talk to him abt par-pota, but Jagya slips away. Maasa is upset.
Down in the living room, Bhairav asks Jagya to come with him to the fields but Jagya refuses. After he leaves, Jagya talks to Sumitra and Gehna. Sumitra feels a sudden pain in her knees and cries out. Jagya sits her down and scolds her for neglecting it. He tells Gehna and Sumitra to drink milk everyday. Just then Anandi comes home and she runs to Sumtira and asks what happened. Jagya yells at her saying she has time to do social service, but not take care of her family. He forcibly takes her bag and throws it in anger
The bag falls and the contents spill out and Jagya sees the bag contained breakfast cereal, sugar substitute and other healty foods. He is silent Anandi says she went to the market to buy stuff for him. Sumtira and Gehna yells at Jagya for being so rude to Anandi. They tell him that Anandi is not neglecting her work, but was working doubly hard and doing all the social service in her free time. Jagya feels bad and says he panicked at seeing Sumitra in pain and apologises to Anandi. He leaves and Sumitra tells Anandi to not take Jagya's words seriously and to go out with him somewhere.
Anandi and Jagya go to meet Phooli. On the way, Jagya changes Gauri's name in his cell to Gauresh . Anandi tells him that he only knows to get upset and never thinks of her. Jagya says he has every right to do so as she is is wife. Both start laughing. Anandi calls Jagya nakhta bandar and tells him to keep smiling at Phooli's house.
