Amma is asking Bunty why Runjhun is filling out his form, and all of them are worried. Rajju Pandey sees Abhi and his father at the doorway and distracts Amma from the questions.
Mittho is really happy to see Abhi and his father and says, that now the old lady will have to answer some questions herself. Billo and Kalsanwali chime in their agreement, saying it will be fun to watch.
Abhi's father keeps asking Amma whether she is sure that this is the right kundli that was given to Abhi. Amma worries she might have made some technical error, but when Abhi tells her that Runjhun's birth chart states that Runjhun is accursed and that any man who married her will die within the month, Amma is shocked.
All the three Mamas and Mamis are happy to hear that. Runjhun herself is stunned, and leaves the paperwork she is filling. Amma thinks how can that be possible and voices it out and almost reveals that she herself wrote the birth chart but then she realizes that the uncles and aunts definitely have something to do with this. She looks at them and they turn their gazes away.
Mittho then puts up a show pretending to cry that if they break the marriage, Runjhun will die out of shame. Billo says how can Mittho say that. Who will want their son to be married to such an unlucky girl. She says no father would want to jeopardize their son's life.
Abhi's father says that he doesn't want any harm to come to his son's life that is why he has a question. He asks Amma if it is okay that Abhi and Runjhun get married within the next week. Amma is relieved, but none of the uncles and aunts are happy.
Mittho says that this is not possible as there is not enoough time ot make preparations and that Abhi's father is making a difficult request. Abhi's father said that there is a way to cheat the ill fortune of Runjhun's birth chart and says they have to arrange the marriage at the right time and place. He says Runjhun will marry a tree which will be claimed as her first husband and then married to Abhi. He says he'd come to break the marriage but his son's stubborn nature and good heart has led for him to find a valid solution.
Amma says that she is grateful, and not to worry about the time but the uncles and aunts chime in saying this is not possible. Mittho says she doesn't have time to find the right sari to wear, and kalsanwali says that all her people from Kalsan will not be able to get here on time. Rajju Pandey says that he would have seen to all the preparations but there is not enough time. Vishnu says that they can't think of Runjhun's marriage when Buntu's case is still in the air.
Amma says she needs nothing from them. She says she will make all the preparations and asks Abhi's father to allow Abhi and Runjhun to go to Kanpur for some shopping as in Kannaj they have to worry about Guddu Shukla troubling them. Abhi's father agrees. Abhi tells his father he is happy with the decision taken. They leave.
Rajju Pandey says he will make preparations and Kalsanwali leaves saying she is not doing anything, and slowly all disperse. Amma says that Runjhun is like a light in the house and when she leaves she will take the light away with her. Runjhun is upset at the prospect of Abhi coming to harm because of her. Amma consoles her and says that Abhi's father has found a way so she shouldn't worry, and tells her to get ready quickly.
After Runjhun leaves, Amma thinks that the aunts have definitely cooked something to break Runjhun's marriage.
Runjhun and Abhi are getting ready to leave, and Amma tells them to make sure they get everything on the list and to be careful, and gives them breakfast for the road. The aunts watch the whole thing from the window. Abhi and Runjhun get on the rickshaw and leave as they have to catch the eight o'clock train.
Kalsanwali is upset because she gave the astrologer money and said to do his worst but how come Runjhun is still getting married. Kalsanwali says if the other mamis continue to taunt her she has no interest in working with them. Mittho says it is still in their interest to work together. She says she has the perfect plan to break Runjhun's marriage. She says that there is another person beside them that wants to ruin Runjhun and break her marriage. She says now she will manipulate Guddu Shukla and let him break the marriage. The other two look on happily.
Guddu Shukla and his gang arrive to their carom and cd club, and talk about expanding the business. One of them mentions making a sweets shop as it is not fun eating at other places. Guddu asks him how will it sound if he becomes a halwai, or a sweet maker. He can't imagine someone calling Guddu Shukla for ladoos.
Rajju Pandey brings ladoos for Guddu Shukla which amuses them since Guddu had just called out for them. Rajju Pandey hands them to Guddu and asks whether he doesn't want to know the reason for them spreading sweets. Rajju says that Runjhun's marriage has got fixed for next week, and Guddu can't do anything about it.
Guddu becomes angry, crushes the ladoo in his hand and asks them whether they are here to taunt him. Vishnu says it's to make a claim against their enemy who had tried so hard to break Runjhun's marriage. BUntu says that Runjhun's marriage got fixed and Guddu doesn't even seem to be aware of it. Rajju says that she will be married and he won't be able to do anything.
One of Guddu's gang members says that they haven't come to give sweets but to give a slap on the face. Vishnu informs Guddu that Runjhun has gone to Kanpur to do shopping for the wedding, and that after the bride chooses her own dress she will walk away in front of him and he will not be able to do anything. They leave and tell Guddu to enjoy the ladoo, and not to be angry.
Guddu's friends are upset, and says they should take care of the matter. Guddu tells them to keep an eye for any train that comes from Kanpur. He says that the Pandey family that used to be scared of him is now challenging him, all because of Runjhun Mishra. He says he will get even in such a way that the entire Kannauj will watch.
Abhi and Runjhun spend some time together shopping and getting along. In the sari shop, Abhi asks to be shown some saris. He asks for the color blue and Runjhun asks for red. Abhi asks the shopkeeper to show them some red saris. Then they go to the bangle shop, and this time he asks Runjhun for her choice of color. Runjhun asks for green bangles. Amma calls Runjhun and asks if everything is well.
Runjhun says they just have a few more stuff to get, and they will be back by the evening train. Abhi and Runjhun share their food after they finish shopping and return home back to Kannauj. While on their way back home, Abhi realizes they forgot to pick up the red veil for the prayer ceremony. Runjhun tells him to get it from one of the nearby shops. He says he doesn't want to leave her alone. She says that the house is near and she will be fine.
He gets off from the rickshaw just as Guddu Shukla arrives. He says that even though he warned Runjhun away from buying for her marriage she went ahead and did it anyways. He says that she continues to insult his honor, and he will do the same to her.
