Nothing major happened, so will give a short update.

The Viranis, except IMV, gather in Ba and Babuji's room. Sonal's appointment leeter is passed around. People have mixed feelings about it. Jhothsana is happy that IMV has educated her daughter so that now she is worthy of a job. Some are apprehensive as to what IMV would say. Babuji assures Sonal that she has all the right to take a decision concerning her future and he would always be with her, come what may. Charu seconds him and says that the entire family is with her.

Devki is depressed that her friendship with Nirali is broken. Just then her phone rings and a guy informs her that Nirali has met with an accident and that she should come as soon as possible. Devki rushes to the hospital only to find a sorry note and lots of bouquets all around Nirali's room. Devki is again angry with Nirali for lying to her and is about to leave the room when Nirali begs of her to give her one chance to explain herself. Devki does and when Nirali finishes, they become friends again. Nirali promoses that she would never again hide anything from Devki. Devki says that she cannot make such a promise as she has kept something from the world. But she promises that when the time is ripe, Nirali would be the first person to know of it.

Sonal comes with a box of sweet and distributes it to everyone. Just then IMV comes in and enquires about the sweet. When he gets to know that Sonal has got a job offer, he gets very angry and says that no one from his family will ever again work for some one else. He says that one does not get any money for being a teacher and that their life will only be spent in misery and poverty. Ba negates it and she says that she got respect out of being Motilal master's wife. IMV scoffs and makes fun of it. He tears Sonal's appointment letter. Babuji gets angry and reminds him that IMV himself started his career by being "someone's servant". IMV goes into his room with his family's words reverberating in his ears. He remembers a woman and a man slapping him.
