Everyone continuing their KPO in the hospital. Moorthy comes there and joins in along with his mother and sister. Doctor comes out and says Maha is stable but not conscious yet and that he is waiting for a neurologist to come there. He says one person can go to meet Maha. Everyone there tells Gopi to go see her and she will probably wake up on seeing him. Gopi goes in and sadly calls out to Maha. Maha doesn't wake up but tears start to flow from her eyes (yappa....intha maha...ippovum torture panname vidamaata) Gopi gets emotional on seeing this and starts to cry and pleads with Maha to open her eyes. No reaction. He comes out crying and everyone asks why. He says Maha didn't wake up but was crying. Everyone increasing the tempo of their oppari and playing pass-the-parcel on guessing why Maha was crying.

At Malar's house, Malar's father feeling bad that Gopi was also suffering like Malar and some lecture abt sodhanai and vaazhkai etc. After he goes inside, Rohini passing kindal remarks to Malar abt how she must be feeling kulu-kulu now that Maha may die. Malar drives her away. Malar father comes there and tells her that they won the case regarding their ancestral home and leaves with Malar and brother to check out the house. The house has been empty and as they go about looking at the house, Pandi who is hiding there runs away in panic.

Mayil arranges for some good jyosiar to come home to see the jaathagam for Gopi-Malar. Local jyosiar passing comments about this and Mayil cuts him off. Puthu jyosiar(PJ) asks PP brothers if Gopi has an elder brother. They say he does and bring out his jathagam. PJ says the first son's time to return has come. Everyone super happy. PJ continues that the boy was destined to grow up away from the house and that his jathaka porutham with Maha was supero-super (appidi podu podu podu..) Everyone shocked and say Gopi-Maha marriage is fixed and ask for any pariharam to fix problems. PJ promises to study jathagam and get back to them.

After PJ's exit, Santhi asks Meenakshi why the boy ran away. Meenakshi crying that it was for a silly matter. Mootha pillai (MP) not liking PP vashichifying. One day after school Mayil hitting him for some unknown reason, boy ran away never to be found. He had written Down down Mayil on some wall before running, Mayil feels because of him, MP ran away and maybe that's why Pandi is like this. Meenakshi hopes MP is hale and hearty and will return back soon. Cut to some saamiyar walking towards Karaikudi (The way he was walking, I felt he was fraud samiyar...paarpom)

Kootam outside ICU..Nurse comes out saying Maha was concious. The entire gumbal goes inside and cries and calls out to her. They ask Gopi to call Maha. Maha though conscious, doesn't recognize anyone and looks blank. Doctor comes to examine Maha.

Rohini goes to meet Gokul and tells him abt Maha. She tells him to do something or else Gopi will make Malar his. Gokul says he wants to tie some mantra kairu on Malar and asks Rohini's help. Rohini says everyone is out of the house except for her and Malar and asks him to come at night. After she leaves, Gokul laughs and reveals that he plans to rape Malar.

After examination Doctor comes out and tells Gumbal that Maha has amnesia and that her memory may or may not return. Gumbal starts oppari. Pirai cries that his Maha is now officially loosu.

Sam follows Pandi's dhimsu friend who manages to escape. He meets Pandi and gives him food. He tells abt Maha being better and that she would be discharged in a day or two. Pandi still plans to kill Gopi. Friend warns and leaves.

Everyone crying in hospital. Inspector comes there. Sam too comes there and tells about spotting Pandi's friend and they go to search him. In hospital, Maha is discharged and Pirai arranges for car. He wants to take Maha back home, but Sokku says Maha may get better if she is around Gopi and family. Gopi vows to still marry Maha on the fixed date. Everyone crying.

The next day Gopi oils Maha's hair. Everyone touched to see this. Maha seems lost. Acc. to New jyosiar's instructions, family members going to Rameshwaram and the marriage will be conductied there with only family members.KS aunty tells Gopi to tell Maha that he will marry her and he does. Maha laughs and goes away. Gopi sad

Scene continues from Mahes telling Dhimsu that she is pregnant. He is happy. Mahes feels bad that Dhimsu was not around to share her happy news of knowing she was pregnant. She keeps polambifying that she is unfortunate to not have her husband around. She tries to convince Dhimsu to return home, but Dhimsu refuses because he has just got a job and wants to be able to provide well for Mahesh. Mahesh is not ready to listen and tells him to work at Karaikudi. Dhimsu says his current job is very good and he wants to continue for the sake of his family. Dhimsu promises to take Mahesh with him soon.Mahesh accepts reluctantly.

Dhimsu and Mahesh return to Gumbal. Next is SOkku's turn to lecture Dhimsu. Dhimsu repeats same reply. Next is leave application for Maha-Gopi wedding, but Dhimsu says he can't take leave.

Some lawyer comes to Malar's home to represent Gokul and try to resolve Gokul-Malar matter. They give some unnecessary advice to Jaganathan who tells them not to interfere. The lawyers say that Gokul had decided to divorce Malar. Jaganathan is not shocked at all and says that it was Malar's choice whether she decides to divorce Gokul or not.He would support his daughter no matter what. The lawyers are surprised and leave.

Dhimsu goes to his Modalaliyamma (I feel there is some thillu-mullu going on here). She asks him who the gumbal was. Dhimsu doesn't say its his wife's family. He says they are his relatives and ask for 5000 rupees. She gives him. Dhimsu goes to give money to his family. KS aunty talks to Dhimsu and same repeat dialogue abt returning home, earning money etc. Dhimsu gives money to KS aunty and Mahesh and leaves. Mahesh looks on sadly.
