Manav's shop
Manav is sitting in his shop with Shibu .Shibu is thinking that he has got Ajit back into gambling and now he has to target Satish .
He suggests to Manav that he has gathered enough funds to be invested in some big business and maybe he should get in touch with a big business man to invest in his business .Manav says that he doesn't know anyone .
Shibu immediately suggests to him that he should go in some sort of partnership with Satish .Manav likes the suggestion and says that he will talk to Satish about it ...
Meanwhile Ajit comes in and returns Manav the collection money .
Manav gives Ajit his share of the profit .Ajit refuses but Manav says to him that it is his right as he too works in the place ....
A man comes in the shop and asks Manav for 10,000 rupees .He looks at Ajit and says that he saw him in the Casino last night ...
This man is clearly on Shibu's payroll as Shibu gestures to him to make a move and do his bit ....
The man says to Ajit that he has seen him gamble in Rocky's casino and Ajit plays so well.Ajit panics and immediately denies having anything to do with the casino .Manav is looking at all this and is getting angry ...
When that man leaves , Manav yells at Ajit because he is sure that Ajit has started gambling again .
Ajit tells Manav that he was forced to do this because of his mother .
Manav : So why could you not ask me for the money ? You don't consider me your friend .You have hurt me so much today .
Ajit : I did not wish to be a burden on you .
Manav : How can you say that ? This is your money too .You kicked this habit and now again you are getting into this .If you gamble again then I would have nothing to do with you ...
Ajit : Please don't say that .I promise I will never gamble again ......
Shibu is looking at them and is getting frustrated as he wanted them to break their friendship but looks like they have solved the issue of Ajit's gambling ....
In a Shop
Manohar is asking a man to give him his money back .The man says that he cannot arrange so much money so suddenly .He wants to know why Manohar needs it so quickly .Manohar gets angry and tells this guy that it is none of his business to ask him for the reason .
The man gives him some back with a promise that he will return the rest also very soon .
Deshmukh House
Manav comes back in his house .Damodar tells him that neither his mother nor Archana are at home .
Archana had actually fallen asleep in Savita's room ( Savita by mistake had locked her in ) , when she hears Manav , she wakes up and calls out to her husband .
Manav is shocked to see that Archu has been locked from outside ...He wants to know who did this .
Savita says loudly , from outside ' I did this ' .
Savita comes in , ignores Manav and tells Damodar that she had to go out and she had no idea that Archu was in the room ....
She opens the lock and Archana comes out .
Archu too tells everyone that this must be a genuine mistake ..
Damodar still wants to know why Savita had to lock the room ..Savita tells Damodar that this house belongs to her and she will do as she pelases and if his daughter in law goes in her room again , she will lock her again .....
Manav wants to know why his mother is behaving this way but Savita cuts him short and tells Damodar to tell the outsiders ( meaning Manav ) to keep out of the family affairs ....
Karanjkar House
Manohar comes home .He is looking very stressed .Vinod and Manju are in the family room .Vinod wants to know why Manohar is so worried .
Manohar is about to tell Vinod about a big problem that he is in but Sulochna comes in and Manohar stops ..
Sulochna wants to know what father and son are talking about .Manohar gets irritated by her and tells her that he was just talking to his son .Sulo is surprised because a normally happy Manohar looks angry for no reason but Manohar makes her quiet by saying that there is nothing wrong .
Sulochna goes away but this makes Vinod wonder what could be the problem that his father is even hiding from his mother ...
Manav's room
Manav is sitting quietly in his room .he is looking very down ....
Archana comes in and sits besides him ...
Archana : Manav , you look tired , I will put you dinner for you .She smiles at him and then notices that he is looking at her with a strange look .
Archana : Why are you looking at me like this .
Manav : So much happens around you, still you look so peaceful , how do you do that ?
Aie keeps cursing you , don't you ever feel bad ? Doesn't all this effects you ?
Archana : No , it doesn't . because I know that the reason why I am here will be successful soon .Aie will recover soon and then all these humiliations will not mean anything . You also think like this and everything will look easy for you .
Manav smiles : How can you think like this ..
Archana : I have learned all this from you only .You have taught me how to look for happiness in the most troubled times and problems ....you have taught me this and that is what I am following now .
Manav has a big smile on his face as he proudly looks at his wife and gives her a hug ...
Outside the Chawl .
The Chawl ladies are filling the buckets with water .Savita too is standing i nthe line .They are fighting each other like cats and dogs but savita is just standing there not at all interested in them and is not getting involved at all..Archu is watching all this and she coems running to help Savita with the bucket .savita immediately snaps when she sees her and tells her never to touch her things again or else she will break her hands .
Vegetable market
Madhuri meets Archana accidently .Both girls are happy to see each other .Madhuri wants to know if Archu has changed house and Archu tells her that now she is living with her saas and sasur .
Madhuri asks Archu about vaishali and Archana tells her that vaishu is doing well and is trying to move on in life .Archu asks about Dharmesh and had Madhuri been in touch with him but Maduri says that she has not heard anythign from him .Madhuri mentions to Archana about taking divorce from Dharmesh and Archana listens to her but doesn't say anything ...
Meanwhile Savita is also in the same market and she too is buying vegetables .She does her shopping and is about to walk away when the vegetable woman starst screamign that sh has not paid .Savita puts up a fight for a while .Other vegatbale sellers say that this is Manav's mothe so show some respect but the vegetable woman is not listening to this .She is very rude to savita and demands her money saying that prefessional dealing with manav is a seperate issue ....
Savita quietly takes money out and gives it to her and walks away .
Archana who is watching all this is surprised how quiet Savita is with others .She comes to a conclusion that savita shows her old self ( fighting and screaming ) only when she is around Archana and otherwise she is hardly her old self with anyone else ..

Savita comes i n her house and she sees Archana playing with Sachu .
A furious Savita snatches Sachu away from Archana and gives a shocked Archana a very hard slap on her face ......
